I love all crafts! I have to keep my hands busy always doing something. My house looks like a craft store and I can't even imagine if I were to find all my crochet hooks how may I would have. Unfortunately my one kitty "Joy" loves to play with yarn and she is good at weaving it around my open staircase (this is all done while I sleep). I go through fazes with crafts. I love intricate stuff like filet crochet. I used to do alot of beadwork, but my eyes are not working as good as they used to.I love origami too which combines my love for paper and making something amazing out of simple thing. When I was making alot of filet crochet a friend of my was amazed at what could be made out of a ball of thread.

The Shining, Sid and Nancy, Point Break...and anything with Keanu Reeves in it! I love anything really scary and really funny. Don't like those movies like "saw" eeeewww

I live with 4 dogs( Simon, Nannette, Bambi and Bunny) Nannette is a poodle and the rest are Italian greyhounds. I also live with 3 kittys (Mary, Ivy and joy) 3 cockatiels. Two are named after the last name of both of my great grandmothers, Chantemerle and McPhee and the third I inherited after my friend passed away and his last name was Sweet... so his name is Sweety. He knows when to wolf whistle and tell me he loves me when I'm feeling blue. I also have a small 10 gallon fish tank full of cute fishies. So I'm never alone and they are the best family ever... I'm very lucky. I work in a veterinary hospital and also groom doggies part time giving hair cuts. I love being around animals. I remember being close to animals my whole life.

I like making blankets for local animal shelters and rescues and have been crochet edging fleece blankets. Some are as small as 14" square for tiny kittens. since fleece usually comes 72" wide I can get 5 out of 14'. Any fleece can be used as well as any scrap yarn.
