Hi, my name is Melissa and I live just southeast of Seattle in a burb called Renton. I have a pair of Hemingway cats, Larry and Curly, polydactyl. Larry the lovebug sweetie has 7 toes per front foot and Curly the feral-like one has 8 toes per front foot. It can be lethal just playing with them. They are a constant source of entertainment and fun. I am currently an under-employed graphic designer and a part-time Chief Test administrator for college students that want to going to the teaching programs at universities in the State of Washington and then the endorsement test when they exit and try to get hired in here also. In the past I have managed restuarants, bars and have been a waitress and bartender many times over. I am very much into computers and the internet. I also enjoy beadwork, wirework and jewelry design.

I totally enjoy Beadwork, Wirework, Jewelry Design, Paper Craft but have dabbled in many others such as watercolor, oil painting, silk-screen, many forms of printing, sewing. I just like working with my hands.

I am have been dabbling in Zentangle/Line Weaving for awhile now. My BFF has introduced me to the wonderful world of Tim Holtz so that will be an interesting adventure to explore.

I have an eclectic love of music. Anything from classic rock, blues, bluegrass, much of the current music even a little rap. Some of my all time favorites have been Pink Floyd, ZZ Tops, Allman Brothers, Charlie Daniels, Grateful Dead and the list just goes on and on.

My absolute favorite color is PURPLE. But I enjoy creating with many jewel-like colors. Some of my best and most exciting pieces is when someone gives me an unfamiliar palette to work with on a project. Oh, forget it I LIKE All COLORS some just better than others!
