I am married for over thirty years, I have four children, my eldest daughter is a swap-bot member ( @vedalovelo ) she introduced me to swap-bot :)

We have a wonderful family dog called Apollo, he is a black and white Border Collie ... a sheep dog:) We rescued him from the local dog shelter.

For my day job I am a Forensic analyst (with a degree in analytical chemistry) and I'm also a part time fertility Acupuncturist. In the evening and weekends I love to do all things craftsy :)

Since some of my kids have left home now and have places of their own, I now have my own craft room !!I love adding to my stash (fabric,wool, ribbons and trimmings,stencils, rubber stamps, cutting dies,you name it ,I love it!!)

I love to try all kinds of crafts and am always up for a new challenge!

Knitting & Crochet: I support a local maternity hospital by making hats, cardigans, angel gowns and blankets for premature babies

Patchwork Quilting: I am only a novice but loving it :)

I also love making dolls and bears with fabric or knitted.

I love making ATCs and Pocket Letters.Flip books

I have discovered distressed ink and love using them.

I like stamping and stenciling and am about to discover Gelli Printing ;)

I'm not into fiction ( I don't seem to get the time!)

Craft books: kitting, crochet,doll making, I like anything to do with dolls down through the ages (on my last trip to London, England first stop was The Victoria and Albert Museum of childhood to see the doll collection !!!)

Chinese medicine books, everything acupuncture and especially fertility acupuncture.

Mind, Body, Spirit books ,

love looking into different religions of the world (even though I am not religious...Spiritual maybe but not religious as such!)

I love to read about alternative medicine ie crystal healing, colour healing, Reiki, aromatherapy, and all types of therapy weird and wonderful :)

My favourite colour is purple, but, funny thing I only wear white!!!

Die cuts of all kinds and little embellishments, steampunk die cuts like cogs and of course arrow die cuts, I love small word stickers too, small enough for an ATC...oh I love ATCs :)

Wool, fancy unusual wool (can be used for doll hair when making craft dolls)

Fabric patterns for dolls and doll clothing through the ages

Knitting patterns, crochet patterns, fairy doll patterns

Things with beads!,

Anything that has an wonderful texture and vivid colours :)

I collect puppets/marionettes , I have two amazing marionettes from Prague in the Czech Republic, a three faced marionette from China, Pinocchio I got from Germany, two little puppets from India and numerous more :)
