I admire Gigi. She is amazing....I am a craftsman/artist as well. I like unusual things. I love color/paint/interior decorating/vintage/magestic things. Looking for options on how to make friends who share alot of my common interests. I am divorced-recovered! LOL. I am a mother of an amazing 10 yr. old daughter. I'm a work-aholic. I rarely have time to do the crafts that I used too since I've been divorced, but need to learn to take time for myself every now and again. I was an avid Scrapbooker at one time. I love to garden, cook. I enjoy outdoor running. Camping, hiking, kayaking, backpacking, fishing. I have my own Faux Finishing business/licensed contractor too! And I work fulltime in the corporate world too. Life is good....

I study middle eastern dance, I have been dancing for about 4 years off and on. The art of this dance is most mesmerizing to me, I've been fascinated with it since I was very young. I teach my daughter when were prancing around the house. My dream is to one day build up the courage to perform in front of my family and friends. I have a new dance teacher, so I'm still trying to pick up her style and vibe.

I love all sorts of music,my latest thing I enjoy doing when I don't have my daughter AND I'm not working is going and checking out local bands in the areas, always fun to pick up a new tune or two. If you ever get the chance to hear the band: Traces of Reason, please do, they are about to reach the top and make it - I feel it. They have a very unique sound of their own. You can also visit them at www.tracesofreason.com. I grew up on Rock n Roll, Grunge, hard rock. Today in my mid 30's my ear has a more braud interest. I love JAZZ, world music, earth music, DISCO (uh huh, that's the way I like it), dance music, raggae (love SOJA) and some classical. I love Tool and the Chili Peppers. My latest is country - my boyfriend got me listening to David Allen Coe, he's kinda nice to listen too. Oh and um....he has extrated music too, kinda funny. Ssssh. But honestly I grew up on the true okey music from Hank Williams, Waylon Jennings and Johnny Cash. I recently went and seen Joss Stone in concert and she was AWESOME! As you can see I have a wide range of tunes that I like.

I like any vampire movie, Pirates of the Carribean (all 3 movies) and of course Lord of Rings (all of em). On the more lighter side I like cutsie stuff too - like a Sandra Bullock flick (kinda funny cause most people tell me I look like her, not sure why)!

Favorite TV Shows: Friends, this new show that's like 'so you think you can dance' but only it's about singing and finishing the lyrics - Sorry forgot what the name of the show is, it's so good. I used to love Survivor, have not had time to watch it,maybe it's not even on anymore? Extreme Makeover is great too. (Any home improvement/designing show really) Desperate Housewives is another one I get to enjoy from time to time.

I also love getting my hands into the earth and digging,gardening. I've studied herbs, I've taken a few woman's culitivating classes from an dear herbalist friend of mine (Kami McBride) if you ever get a chance to learn from her, she is one of the best out there. I really get into making handmade beauty products,medicine and good healthy foods.
