December 29, 2019: I am STILL around, but waiting to get moved to my new place (the apartments are being built and will take a couple of years.). The woman is still harassing me through the mail. I will get a post office box in a few months and will forward my mail there. I will keep the box for a year, then close it out. Once I get my new address, then I will start swapping. I will not be forwarding mail from the post office box to my new address, this way the woman is not informed of my move. It is sad that people have no respect for others right to religious beliefs other than their own. But, I can't wait for this ordeal to finally be over so that I may participate in swaps once again.

UPDATE 12/26/2018: I am very happy to say that I will now be able to ease back into swapping! I had left for awhile until I could get resolved when someone was harassing me through the (snail) mail. It turned out she is NOT from swap-bot, but got my address through the Help Heal Veterans (HHV) program which send craft kits to disabled vets for therapy. They, as well as the police in her area have assisted me with this problem and she will no longer be able to harass me.

I am very easy to please! I just enjoy whatever I get and if I cannot use it, I will pass it onto someone who can, but generally I hold onto things as they are gifts to me!

But, one thing that can cause a person to lose a heart rating from me (and it is very rare this happens, but just note please) is if someone messages me even before the "2 weeks" are up to receive and ask if I got the envie. I am bedridden at times and sometimes only go downstairs to the lobby to check my mail once (maybe twice) a week. I will get you rated when I get the item. If I don't receive it, I will let you know. But please, that bothers me when I feel "pressured" to rate for something I had not got yet.

NOTE: If by any chance, postage is due on any of my letters/packages to you, please let me know and I will pay! I just got a (cheap) kitchen scale which I am using to measure the envelopes. It is trial and error as I am trying to ensure the correct postage is paid. (usually, I put too much postage on)

If any of my mail does not make it to you, please let me know! I would greatly appreciate it!

I am a middle aged woman with some physical limitations, yet still kicking it up! I love laughter and fun things as well as doing crafts, crochet, helping others, watching real shows (like the Alaska shows on Discovery, National Geographic and Animal Planet). My kids are grown. Even though I miss them, I try to fill my time with educational things (just got 2 degrees in the last 7 years), research, archiving (historical documents - one of my degrees).

Oh, I love love love MAPLE candy. It is so hard to find! The only one I can find has a nut in it which I cannot eat (but I HAVE sucked the candy off the nut, lol)

I love to crochet, paint, and do paper crafts. I love putting things together from kits (bird houses, jewelry boxes, etc.).

UPDATE: I am now into paper crafts and Flowish journals!

Another update! Just learned that America now has a paper craft book as well called Kikki K! Yippee!

I am a fun loving person, so much so that I just got my degree in Parks and Recreation where we learn the art of playing! (There is so much more to the degree than that :) ). I love History! And I hope to find a historic site that I can work in their archives (I also have a degree in Archival Studies). I am fascinated with old documents, pictures, articles, etc.

I love to study self sufficiency, especially when on a budget.

I LOVE crafting of many sorts! And I LOVE handmade items such as furniture from branches, handwoven cloth, dishes, etc....anything that you can find in the Foxfire books! Stories, songs, old games played, old holiday traditions.

Favorite Music Bluegrass! Coming from the ONLY university in the world that now has a degree in bluegrass! I loved sitting on campus doing my school work and listening to the many students who practiced their music!

Praise and Worship

Even though Christianity is "new", God is not. He is the BEGINNING. All other "religions" (pagan included) were begun UNDER Him.

Although I love Jesus with all my heart, I do not celebrate Christmas or Easter as a religious holiday. I prefer to honor Him in a different way. No, I am not a JW.

Now, I do enjoy the other aspects of Christmas, so snowmen, or cute mice or Thomas Kinkaid scenes or things like that I am ok with!

I do NOT force my beliefs on you. If you want to know about them (I am Seventh Day Remnant - no we are NOT Adventist). I worship Sabbath not Sunday. Yet, I RESPECT that many do not have the same beliefs!
