Hi. Yes, I am male and yes I am mature (over 50). Please do not hold these two attributes against me. That said, more about me:

I am married to a beautiful lady. We have four children, three daughters and a son. We were recently blessed with our second Grandchild.

I am retired and my wife works in logistics. We live in a small town in South Central Texas.

I did take a sabbatical from my two online ventures, Swap-Bot and Postcrossing but with my retirement I am looking forward to once again actively participating.

Please do not allow the fact that I am male discourage you. I promise to do my best to fulfill all swaps in a manner that will more than just satisfy participants. If I get stuck, I always have my wife to fall back on. She is into scrap booking and the arts and crafts areas that I may lack some knowledge.

I am very open minded when it comes to music. I like some of just about any genre that you can think of, it just depends on my mood.

My favorite would be old Country & Western. By old, I am referring to the 40's and 50's.

But I enjoy classic, blues, jazz, hard rock (70's and 80's) and big band. Told you my interests are varied.

I read quite a bit. Mostly I enjoy fiction (horror) with Stephen King being my favorite author. I also read true crime and enjoy biographies of prominent figures, especially politicians.

This may come as a surprise, but I enjoy horror movies. Not the modern slash type movies but real scary movies, Like The Birds or Rear Window. Another favorite is the original Psycho. Notice a theme? Alfred Hitchcock.

More recent movies that I have enjoyed including Titanic and Fifth Element.

Favorite actors and actress include Demi Moore, Goldie Hawn, Bruce Willis, Jack Nicholson, Jerry Lewis, Don Knotts and Kate Hudson.

Current television likes are slim. I do enjoy NCIS, Reba and Big Bang Theory.

Ok, this is sort of a weak point depending on your perception. I enjoy small woodwork projects (for example bird houses and feeders). I am also a big photography enthusiast and enjoy just about any project that involves photography.

Is cooking a craft? It should be. I sure do enjoy it.
