The Hatter goes Steampunk For this swap we will deck the Hatter out in his best Steampunk style For this swap we will be creating a Steampunk hat for our partner in Mad Hatter style At the request of a few people I am changing this to a mini hat The hat pictured in the swap icon was done with a plastic hat found at a party store and then embellished like Mad All swap rules apply please only send what you would love to receive. THIS SWAP IS LABOR INTENSIVE PLEASE KEEP IN MIND YOU NEED TIME TO BE PART OF IT Have fun and be creative

at the party store and the mini you would have to make yourself i dont know another way for that one

Here is a great tutorial on how to make your own mini top hat :) Hope this help you ladies. I, myself don't have the confidence to join this one. Sounds like fun though! Sorry, I don't know how to make it a link...

Sounds like a fun challenge! I made a mini hat last year for the mad hatter (not steampunk tough) and used this pattern. Just shrink it a bit :)

Oh, and I made it from felt and not leather as the tutorial suggests :)
