A card and a Prayer

Please pray for my family’s health. My older sister had her pacemaker recalled a couple of weeks ago, my younger sister is going to have an angioplasty next month on the 19th and my mom is going to have an ultrasound done on her heart in December. Wow so much is happening in my family right now.

1CrazyQuilter, I will pray for you even if I don't join the swap. It sucks when family is sick. My father-in-law was just told that a part of his pace maker was recalled. The doctor told him he is better off to leave it in than go through surgery right now. So I will pray for you and yours. Tracy

My hubby and I are praying to find out how we are to grow our family (I have infertility due to PCOS.) We have always been open to adoption, but lately it's really been on my heart to at least try infertility treatment.

Also, I'm 28 and have rheumatoid arthritis, I've had it for a few years now. So far this winter is pretty awful. My joints are freezing up a lot, the worst spots being my left hip, and hands. It's really slowing me down. So much so that my best gal friend said she's willing to come over to help me with housework, I probably should take her up on that. But it's hard to ask for help.

I'm grateful for this swap. It's a kind and wonderful thing to pray for and encourage the needs of others. I'm glad to both participate and be rewarded by this swap. IF I could give the host a thousand stars for this swap, I would!

I recently moved to Utah & I have been praying that God would lead me to a job where I will be with other Christians. I accepted the job and will be starting soon. Please pray that I will be surrounded by others. Thank you!

Please just pray for me that God will show me the choices I should make in the coming decisions I have to endure through my life and that He will just guide me. Please pray for my family. We are in the process of trying to get custody of two of my cousins. My aunt is a drug addict who neglects her children. We go to court in January to try and get her rights terminated. Her children are wonderful kids and hopefully we can bring them into our home.

WOW,I am sitting here teary eyed reading all your wonderful prayer request. I have soooo much going on in my life but my troubles seem so small when it comes to what is happening with others. If I have one area in my life that needs prayer more then any other it would have to be that God helps me to find my purpose, I know he is leading my life to help others but where is he leading me? I trust him but I worry I am not making an impact..their are moments when I walk away & second guess what I have said or did and wonder if I let an opportunity pass.

I would like a prayer for my brother, Paul. He is 16 and is non-verbal and autistic. I would like someone to pray that he will be healed from his autism through a new treatment we are trying. Please also pray for my family's financial situation...It's very difficult for my mother to make it by lately. Also, I would like a little prayer to help me deal with a relationship situation (Tommy vs. David)...Very complicated situation and making me very confused...Tommy is my long-time (2 1/2 years) boyfriend and David is a really good friend and great guy...Thanks in advance!

Wow, this is a beautiful idea. I second all that "TheFrogQueen" said. I will make a point of taking time to pray for each of you at least once, not just my partner. Prayer is powerful! My prayer requests would be 1. Financial wisdom for my husband and myself as we begin to deal responsibly with foolish debt we've accrued, and kindness towards eachother during the process 2. Healing in my relationship with my father and 3. That God would continue to lead me in being a good mother, wife, daughter, and friend according to His will and wisdom. I just wanted to post that I might be slightly late getting a card out, and I will at least send an e-mail card and for sure will say a prayer for my partner's needs, but right now the road up to my place is flooded over and it might be a couple days until I can get to the post office. Since this is an unforeseen event I hope everyone can be understanding, and I could use prayer regarding this. My husband is staying the night at a family members house in the next town over as he wasn't able to drive home from work tonight. I hope he can make it home tomorrow! I'm sure I'll be safe. Plenty of my neighbors are home so I can head higher up hill with them if need be, but I'm pretty sure I'll be fine. Thank you!

I'd like to request that my partner pray for discernment/wisdom in decision-making for me. I'm trying to decide whether to move back to my home state or remain in California for another year.

It seems like it's clearing up now. The neighbor across the street left for work. And my hubby was able to get to work today so hopefully he'll be able to make it home tonight. If things keep getting better I won't have any delays after all.

Currently we are very blessed everyone,in our family is healthy. I do ask that you keep my 8 yr old grandson in your prayers. His name is Shane and he was born with Translocation 22 or Emmanual Syndrome. He does not speak or walk he just had surgery this past February to repair his left hip socket and is currently receiving therapy to teach him to walk. He also is feed a liquid diet though a feeding tube. My daughter is a carrier of the gene so more then likely she will not be having additional children. Shane is a blessing in our family and I just ask that you keep him in your prayers as a ends up in the hospital 3 or 4 times a year due to a variety of virsus or seizures. Thanks to all for your prayers, I have praises!! My mom’s test came back ok, I went to the doctor with her on Friday afternoon and he was very happy with all her test results.

My little sister went in to emergency on Thursday with chest pains and stayed over night and had surgery on Friday morning to look for a blockage in her heart and they found none. She is at home doing well. Praise God!
