I'm a SCORIPIO need I say more.

I'm married to a wonderful man who puts up with all my interests which includes crafts and fabric which is my passion.

I'm 54 and young at heart. I have 2 grown daughters, 5 grandchildren ages 5 yrs thru 19 years. I'm a retired 911 dispatcher. We have 2 dogs (Shotzie and Goofy)1 cat, parakeets, 2 love birds and 2 cockteil's plus my husband has a 150 gallon fish tank with tropical fish and fancy goldfish.

Only 1 dog is a house dog(Schotzie) my baby who we rescued from the pound as previous owners abused her. I'm one of those persons who buys or make clothes for her, during the winter she wears sweaters and tee-shirts, I also put cute baby barrettes in her fur around her ears and I make cute scarves for her and our other 2 dogs, she's my baby dog, the cat (who hates me as he was my husbands before we met he thinks of me as a intruder), and two love birds are allowed in the house all other birds are in the avairy that my husband built.

I love old coffee pots also old and new teapots. About ten years ago I started a collection of both. However now the majority of the collections are boxed up, and in the garage from when we remodeled the house. I still pick up items with both motifs when I find them.

I love watching the birds gather in our backyard to feed from the 3 large bird feeders we have and bath in the birdbaths. My husband says that the birds eat better then we do. (^ _ ^) I just laugh, as we use about 50 lbs of seed a week. Plus I have bird houses in the backyard however no birds ever make a home in them.

We enjoy traveling and going to Vegas every couple of months, plus I enjoy numerous crafts. I enjoy talking with and meeting new people.

I enjoy shopping for fabric and crafty things, my husband is the saver and I'm the spender, he's trainable and coming along just fine ladies, (^ _ ^) he's adjusting bless his little heart. He really had no idea what he was in for when we married (^_^). We just celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary, he's the love of my life. I wish we had met when we were younger as I had 2 previous frogs with warts second husband had more then the first as the first husband is the father of MY girls so I speak of him more kindly whenever I do. I guess that is a nice way of describing ex-husbands.

I posted a singles ad in 1999 narrowed it down to 2 I was extremely picky never thought of marriage again I just wanted a roll in the hay (hope I don't offend anyone) and someone to enjoy time with, and we have been together ever since our first meeting. I hit the jack-pot with him, he's one in a million. He will give me anything my heart desires except a built in pool. LOL ~~~~~~~I love him deeply.

Then I found SWAP_BOT the rest is history......................(^ _ ^)

Oldies prefer 50's and 60's, I really like Motown and Doo Woop as well as all Country Music especially the 60's and 70's like Johnny Cash The Silver Fox, Loretta Lynn etc.

Gone with the Wind, and Dr. Zhivago, Westerns, WWII Movies.

All My Children, One life to Live, HGTV and Food network shows, crime shows on CBS Vegas, NCIS, CSI Vegas and CSI Miami, Ghost Whisper, Numbers, plus others.

Gardening, Cooking, Baking, Sewing, Quilting, Knitting, rubber stamps and card making.

I've been creating ATC's for about a year now and love it. I do not care for ATC's created on playing cards. I have recevied some that are not the proper size. I have so much patterned paper I do not need any more please don't waste the extra for postage. I love handmade paper envelopes for ATC's. I also only prefer to receive ATC's in a specific ATC swap.

I've fallen in love with quality made Dotee Dolls. I plan on collecting much more.

I've discovered a love for one inch buttons. Oh I like other buttons also.

In addition my favorite type of stickers are the clear vellum type which blend into the area they are applied to. I do like others types of stickers and I've found I prefer whole or half sheets not individual types.

Love almost any type of crafts. If sending me thread in a swap the only type I use in my three machines is Gutermann thread, or any other type of quality thread. I do not use Coats and Clarks thread or any type of inexpensive thread as it creates too much lint in the bobbin area sorry. I don't want to sound like a snob but there is a big difference in thread.

I'm always ready to try something new. Oh I almost forgot I loveee house cleaning, yeah right gotcha ya (^_^).

Favorites; color Blue, milk chocolate candy(yummy) not dark chocolate, now I know it's good for you I do not care for the bitter taste, fabric (my passion), recipe books, craft books, handmade paper and cards, flower seeds, favorite flowers are roses and iris, sunflowers. I love butterflies, ladybugs, dragonflies, Mary Englebreit, almost all Red Hat items I'm not a member of the RED HAT Society although a friend of mine says she wants to start a group, if she would I would join. Although I'm not sure I would dress completely in red and purple I would probably be a bit more subdued, I just like a lot of the items I see.

Dislikes-The color orange except in the fall, scrap booking, coffee, tea,(actually I can't have caffeine and I miss it, I don't care for decaf coffee or tea so please do not send it). Please no gum or mints. Thank you.

I'm now addicted to SWAP-BOT now. HEHE.........
