Description:

Some say email is more environmentally friendly than snail-mail but let's do something to prove that statement wrong!!

In this swap, you have to send THREE (3) different items which are somehow related to being eco-friendly or something to help with the environment. Handmade stuff from recycled material is acceptable but only limit to ONE (1) item, do keep in mind that you are suppose to turn waste into something useful, not into another piece of trash. On top of that, you also need to share FIVE (5) tips on what you can do to be a eco-friendly swapper.

Use your imagination and creativity, and hopefully we'll get different ideas on how to be a "green" swapper from this ;-)

I'm not sure I understand--does that mean we need to BUY two of the items?

Yes. If your partner is into handmade things, you can send more handmade items but only one with recycled material. Example of recycled material would be newspaper, bottle cap, aluminium tin etc.

too bad this isn't all handmade & recycled - I'd totally join then! (what's more green - and personal - then recycling materials into some lovely gifties you made especially for your partner? :) the extra tips are a cute idea to add though!

@Strawberry I agree with you, I just worry that not all swappers interpret "handmade recycled things" the same way, and just turn one trash into another.

Maybe we could have an open discussion here about ideas on how to recycle waste material in this swap. Bottle cap magnet is something I would make, esp with caps from special drinks. But sometimes it's difficult to get bottle caps in perfect shape hehe.

The best way to be eco-friendly and green is NOT to buy things!

I agree with the other comments-I'd love to do this swap IF it was completely handmade/upcycled. Maybe next time.
