What is a kelly doll?

A kelly doll is the smaller size of barbie or her little sister. If you want you can use a regular size barbie. But she will cost more to send off. Here is a pic I found of a kelly doll. There are some pics on Flickr to. And a couple in the group forum!

Ohh, okay, when I was a child they called Barbies little sister Skipper and she was not chubby like that. Geezz I feel old ;-) I'll look and see if I find an appropriate doll ;-)

Haha! I remember Skipper too. We're not old we're retro! Lol! Feel free to use a different size if you want. I chose that size so it could ship cheaper for international.

Of course you don't have to make a mermaid. And you can use any medium you want. Air dry clay, clothe, paint, ect.... Just has to ocean themed. I will add more links as I find them. ;)

I think Kelly is the kid that Barbie baby sits for. Some of the seasonal Kelly dolls are really cute. Another idea would be to use one of those adorable little Madame Alexander dolls that were recently the prize in McDonald's Happy Meals. I have a bunch of those from Happy Meals in past years.
