Winter Ornaments

Hello, my fellow companions

Naurwen steps out of the forest and into the grove. Soon the time of winter will come and while outside the world will turn into a realm of white glittering snow, we will enjoy days indoors near the warm fireside… It is a tradition to decorate for winter, whether you celebrate or not…

So I am asking you who would like to prepare for this time to join this exchange of winter goodness.

You will create something lovely, beauitful for your partner to hang up and something to put up, thus those will be two things. Winter-themed… let your fantasy go wild, use your magical craftsmaking and make this a wonderful gift! And while we will be walking through autumn we will be preparing for winter…

normally explained :D You will create, alter, etc. 2 things to put up for winter. Be it you celebrate Yule or Xmas or something entirely different. Just please if you absolutely want to relate this swap to any specific winter-holiday, please check out your swap-partner’s profile if they celebrate it at all? Other than that you can make whatever you want – but please make it the best work you can think of – something you’d love to put up yourself! It’ll be 2 things you’ll make – something to hang up (be it on a wall or on a tree) and something to put up.

Just some ideas and examples: To hang up could be the easier one, like… you could create a lovely winter-fairy picture to hang up, or a winter dragon picture, or if you can and want a small figurine… you can also alter things – use some old xmas ornament and alter it into something entirely different.

To put up… this can be really ANYTHING you’d like it to be… it could be a tiny lovely decorated box filled with a winter-surprise… it could be a figurine you either made or altered… it could be a decorated frame with a special picture in it… it could be a little book you’ve decorated yourself and filled with winter-goodness (if you make it yourself it could have, say, 10 pages, I’m not talking 100 pages here, ok? ;) unless you want to! ;))… There are so many things that could be made.

Just as I said further above – just check out if there’s something your swap-partner really dislikes and if you want to relate this swap to a specific holiday, check out if your partner celebrates it at all.
