AMMO ~ Mail Art Challenge~ June

Yowsers is it really almost JUNE?!? Time sure does fly by!

For those who may not have participated in these yet, here's the spheil:

Each month I will be hosting a new mail art challenge for our group. For this challenge you will create either an envelope OR a postcard using the monthly challenges as a guide. This month you will choose at least two of the five following challenges (but my personal challenge to you is use as many as you can!)

Technique, meaning use a cool technique...gelli printing, tape transfer, etc... Explain to your partner what technique you used! (This one will remain a constant each month, but I challenge you to try new techniques!)

Color, use the following colors only: pink, purple, yellow, and black (you my use any combination but at least two different colors!)

Product, Use embossing powder (regular stamp and emboss if fine, but think outside the box too...maybe you smear versamark ink on your envelope edges and emboss that...or use a versapen to address your letter?)

Theme, (one of the following,) fanciful, retro, the universe, animals, furniture (yes, furniture...think rocking chairs, old sofas with kitties curled up, even a pretty bed photo from a magazine!)

Vocabulary, (one of the following words,) Mail, seriously, favorite, infinity, fancy

So to sum it up...pick at least two (preferably challenge yourself to pick more,) of the above themes and use them in your mail art. Create your envelope or postcard and mail off to your partner. If sending a postcard please add a little something to the back such as multiple postage stamps, extra decorations, Washi tape, etc. if using an envelope, please add a small flat surprise to the inside.
