TCH: The Christian Homestead Journal (Feb. 2015)

I have changed this swap just a bit. You will now have 2 partners for this swap. You will also have a choice on some of the themed pages you send your partner. I have decided to do a different vegetable each month. This month will be carrots. I hope you join! Have Fun! Be creative! :)

For each swap, we will have 2 partners. We will send at least 4 pages to our partners with 4 different themes. Of course, you may send more if you wish. Everyone should use 8.5 x 11 inches size paper. It is the size of standard printer paper. Do not send standard notebook paper. We will be using card stock for our pages. This will make our journals nicer. Please decorate your pages. This can mean adding some doodles or stickers. Just some decoration, so we are not just getting a plain typed or written sheet of paper. Let's make something pretty for our journals. Also, pages are to be mailed in a large envelope. Pages are not to be folded.

I will change the themes each month, so we will have a variety in our journals. I will probably do a recipe theme and a list each month, but will add a variety of other things. Some things will be seasonal.

Include your name on each page, so your partner will know who each page is from once it is placed in their journal.

The themes (pages) for this month:

• A favorite Bible verse. On this page, you should include a favorite Bible verse(s) along with at least one paragraph about what the verse means to you.

• Carrots. Include at least one recipe and anything else you would like to about carrots.

• 2 of your favorite casserole recipes OR 2 of your favorite natural cleaning recipes.

• A list of your favorite Christian songs OR a list of your favorite Christian movies. (Must include at least 10 songs or movies.)

This is not a requirement, but if you have not sent an introduction page to your partner in a previous swap, it would be nice to include one. Be creative with this and do whatever you feel like doing. Tell about yourself in any way you wish. Your only limitation is your own imagination! Include a bit about you, your family, your crafts, animals, homestead... This doesn't have to be a written page, although it can be. It could be a list or pictures... Tell us about you in any way you wish.

I am giving three weeks from the sign up date for this swap. All the items are sender's choice, so you may start on it now if you wish. Let's have fun and make a very special journal for our Christian homesteads.

This is a type 3 swap because it is time-intensive.
