Journal Your Month With Extras.

In '07 I participated in a few of these 'Journal W/ A Twist' swaps created by @julief I had forgotten how much fun they were until I was making one up for a partner. It's not a traveling journal, but fun nonetheless, so I thought why not...

What you do is...find a journal that will inspire you, store bought or handmade, any size. You will journal for an entire month, at least 20 entries of text. With each entry, about your day, you will include something extra from that day. If you made a special dinner, include the recipe. If you went on a nice walk, include something you found on the walk (interesting leaf, lost coin, interesting pebble, etc). If you worked on a project, maybe make a little extra to throw in with the journal. If you went shopping at a new store, pick up a cheap little something there. If you enjoyed a cup of tea, add a tea bag. Ticket stub from a movie, CD from a band you saw, magazine article or zine you enjoyed, etc...The options are endless, here, so make something special for your partner. Only rule is there cannot be more than two of the same thing used as extras.

Extras can either be glued into the journal or put loose inside the package in which you send the journal off in. Please date or number loose items, so your partner knows what day they belong to.

You'll have a little over a month to get a package together, so put some time into it. Be proud of what you send.
