Description:

This swap is for ATC's made of fabric or anything fiber. Use your imagination. If you want to use one whole piece of fabric and sew some sequins on it, if you found a piece of fabric with a cute character on it and you want to out line it, if you have just scraps you want to use up and make a small crazy quilt,if you want to make a fabric collage. What ever type of fiber you want of whichever theme you want it's up to you. The only thing is it must be fabric, textile, of any fiber. You will be making one ATC for one partner.

Fabric/Textile ATC swaps are my favorite, I plan on hosting a lot more of these. NOTE: I decorate my fabric ATC's with my own personal embroidery machine. I digitize embroidery designs and embroider over scraps of fabric. Also I am a second generation ATC trader. To me trading ATC's is fun. If having your card traded more than once offends you, please do not join. I say this because I have read some posts where some artists want their ATC's back if they will be traded again.

This swap is open to anyone with a rating of a 5 OR newbies with COMPLETELY filled out profiles (anyone not meeting the requirements will be dropped from the swap). Happy Swapping -- PeppermintChick

Does anyone have a link to see some examples of these? I'm thinking of trying it...sounds like fun!

Thanks, that's really helpful :)

Should we use timtex to make it stiff or thin batting and have them be floppy? Should it be bound like a quilt or satin-stitched around the edges like a fabric ATC or turned under like an envelope quilt?

It's witch ever you choose. It must be 2.5" X 3.5" to be a fabric or quilted ATC. Happy Stitching -- Yvette

I have changed the name of the swap do to my descriptive wording being a bit confusing. I'm so sorry for the confusion. Thanks for the understanding -- Yvette

Does anyone plan on uploading their ATC's on the Gallery Slideshow?

Does the ATC have to be entirely fabric or can there be paper, die cuts etc.
