Comment: Hi Laura! Thank you! Your cool postcard arrived today! I think Latin class would be an awful lot of work to take for background info on vampires- so I say that's a lie! And I'm not sure you would get to talk enough in mime class to form a romantic relationship- so I call that another lie! Since the postmark is from California, I'm going to guess that the movie extra part is true! And if that is correct, I want to know which movie! (I got to be an extra in Animal House way back in the 70's. They were filming at University of Oregon where I was attending. It was so much fun that I'm still talking about it over thirty years later!!!) So how did I do as a detective?

Response: Well.....the suspense.... I'm sorry but you chose the lie!! :) I took a latin class in university because I thought it would help me write vampire stories. I thought I could use the latin to make up spells or whatnot and it would be "authentic." However, I quickly got over my vampire phase and I realized that latin is a dead language for a reason (it is IMPOSSIBLE to learn). That quickly came apparent when I realized I was failing the class. How odd that the postmark was from California considering I sent the postcard from Edmonton, AB, which is in Canada! Apparently my card took a little vacation for sun and fun before reaching you.... Oh, and might I add that being an extra in Animal House is an absolutely awesome story. You should keep talking about that story for a while to come--it still has tons of mileage. :) Thanks for playing my game.

Comment: i miss veronica mars, too. it had such loyal followers - i still cannot believe that it got cancelled! the ratings were always so good. they always do that though - get you to love a tv show and yank it out from underneath you!! =( what tv show is kristen in? i don't have cable - so i'm a little outta the loop!

Response: Oh, I know! All my favourite shows (or a great number of them) are cancelled before their time, it's such a shame! Kristen Bell is in a show called House of Lies, it's on Showtime. I haven't gotten around to watching it yet, but it's on my list of things to do.
