Wife, Mother & Grandma to 5 grandchildren ranging in age from 24 months to 16 years. Born and raised in SO California I love the beach, fog and ocean themes but I have lived in Las Vegas and now in Logandale (by Lake Mead & The Valley of Fire) for over 15 years. The desert is very beautiful and offers up an abundance of interesting bits to use in art projects- rusty metal, branchs, weathered wood, stones all excellent stuff for what I like to work with. I appreciate all types of art/craft work and I myself have worked in a wide variety of medias but right now I'm into assembalage art, altered art and altered books. I love exploring new materials and techniques and some of my favorite things include crows/ravens, celtic, travel, qoutes, and a womens life/changes themes I love all animals but particularly adore dogs and horses. I became interest in swaping because these small projects give me a chance to explore techniques and themes that are a little different from what I might usually choose, I really try to find something in a persons bio to relate to in the swap subject.

I don't have the patients for many movies but the Quiet Man, Under the Tuscan Sun, Chocolate, All the Johnny Depp Pirate movies are a few that I would consider favorites

I love learning new skills or transfering what I know to something new. I have done glass etching, gourds (for a long time), doll making, Santa making from everything, animated displays,scrapbooking,altered books, large metal sculpture, altered art including the small mint tins which I love to do, collage with everything from paper to metal, and now it seems I am adding ATC's to my list.
