I'm a midwestern transplant to the west coast and love living in Eugene, OR. Recently moved back here from 4+ years on the coast. As much as I loved living by the ocean, since moving back to Eugene I feel like I'm really home. My husband and I have hung out together for 23 years and been married for over 13 of those years. He's my best pal. We currently have 2 dogs and 2 cats that we adore. Probably too many animals for the size of our house, but I'm a sucker for a wet nose. We also have 2 grown sons (one each), and one grandson (so cute). I love riding my bike (weather permitting), puttering around in my yard/garden, dance aerobics (jazzercise), coffee in the morning, and most of all the company of good friends with a cheap bottle of wine. I have unconsciously become a collector of winged heart art and mermaids. Winged hearts have been a theme starting when my son was little. Mermaids started as a few eclectic ornaments and has grown to include a large metal sculpture on the living room wall.

I enjoy a lot of different types of music. Not a big fan or rap or heavy metal. Guess my favorites artists fall more folk/alternative. I like Sarah MacLaughlin, Joni Mitchell, Cold Play, Counting Crows, Crowded House, Lucinda Williams, Eva Cassidy, Patty Griffin, Amy Mann, and probably many more that if I heard a song on the radio would confess to loving it, but couldn't tell you the artist. I also have a soft spot for my youth and still love Aerosmith and Tom Petty.

Grey's Anatomy, Bill Maher, Sunday Morning, Jericho, House, Cash Cab, What Not To Wear, early season American Idol (I get bored when all is left but the talent).

Currently ATCs, but I also enjoy most paper crafts, stained glass, weaving, beading, ceramics/pottery, embroidery, crochet (just flat stuff). I've also done some woodburning, soap and candle making, papermaking, and some mixed media stuff on furniture. I guess I'm a bit of a craft junkie.
