I am a 52 yr. young African American women, recently engaged to be married with one grown son. I love to travel, all though I have only traveled within the USA. I would someday like to travel abroad. My favorite color is PINK. I don't like anything with the scent of vanilla. I love fresh flowers, pastel colors and nothing in the color of burgundy or dark green. I do wear black. I prefer yellow gold, opposed to white gold, but love PLATINUM(smile). I loves cremes instead of lotions. I do wear costume jewerly, but if they are earrings, I have pierced ears and the posts would have to be 14KT only or I will break out, I don't know why that is. I have a sweet tooth, but prefer not to eat alot of candy items, but some every now and then won't hurt anyone. I have a mad obsession with collecting anything vintage louis vuitton, but it must be the real thing. I also am a shoe person and loooooooooove shoes and have a small collection. I like to shop at thrift stores, and consignment shops in my area. I read all newspapers from my home area and anywhere that I travel too, I always will pick up a newspaper. I like perfumes, but they must be soft scented and nothing harsh in smell. I collect music boxes, teacup sets, and also vintage shoes clips and hair clips with some sort on crystals or stones in them. I love anything that glitters or looks like it has diamonds in them, real or other wise. I am definately a girly girl even at this age. I am very young at heart and keep active and on the go. I love taking pictures and take my digital camera everywhere I go. I also would like to get a mini camcorder and an Ipod real soon. I love to be on the computer and keep in touch with family and friends old and new ones. I love starbucks for there strawberry frappachino, and the black bottom muffins. I love to cook and collect old southern recipes that have been handed down threw the family generations. I love dogs, not cats. I love rich red nail polishes and lipsticks. I love to collect magnets with meaningful sayings on them. My birthday is in the month of February. I like any type of stationary or note cards that have my initals on them, (RL)now, (R L J )later when I get married. I like outdoors eventhough I am allergic to bees. I have allergies and suffer year round, but still mangage to enjoy outside. I don't mind international swaps as I think everyone from all around the world should have the opportunity to participate, so I will ship overseas. It might take alittle longer, but somethings are worth the wait. (smile) I also forgot to mention that I also like vintage perfume bottles and anything vintage, like table scarfs, linens, & table cloths. They remind me of my childhood days. & I just plain and simple like vintage things. I like sugarfree chewing gum, my favorite mints are the soft round peppermints that are red and white. I love recieving gift cards from places like starbucks, mc donalds, or places that you can stop in and get yourself a treat. Baskin Robbins ice cream or whatever, and I also like to send those to family and friends. I also like butterflies and I only have one so far and that is on a necklace. I got a charm braclet last summer in 14kt. gold and now I have to get some charms for it so that I can wear it. I am not a coffee drinker, so prefer not to recieve any in a swap.I write something in my journal each and every day and have done so since I was 12 yrs old, so recieving some nice journals would be wonderful. I have my own business and a new day planner would be nice as mine has seen its last days, so many notes and appointments in it and doodling all over the place.
