ABOUT ME:

I am 38 years old and married to a wonderful man who loves in his spare time taking care of our big backyard (he is also building a nursery). we don't have kids but we have Athena our 8 years old black lab brought from the States in 2007 and Norby, a nutria (big rodent from this area, very clean, smart and loving). We live in a 14.000 city and I am a hairstylist and I have a small salon in my house.

FAVORITE CRAFTS:

In between clients I have time and I like to do all kind of crafts and pretty things. I make crochet (clothes and flowers for accessories), sewing (dolls and stuffed animals), cardmaking, paper stuff, soap, jewelry from magazines, basket weaving from newspapers and old magazines), etc.. I try every day to learn something and to try something new. I think live is to short to waste it.

I ENJOY:

Making people beautifull and confident with themselves (specially brides). Cooking, specially baking (and eating all kind of cakes and desserts), tv shows like CSI, murder she wrote, travel channel. I love to collect old bottles, cute images, flowers, fragances, rare teas. I like all kind of exotic, medicinal or fragant plants, and I am always looking for seeds for my hubby (I don't like soil, and I don't have a green thumb). I use plants and flowers for teas, cooking or soapmaking.

FAVORITE MUSIC:

I love oldies (specially 80's and 90's), instrumental and music in foreign lenguages. I am very gratefull to Youtube: I can find any song I am looking for, learn a lot and watch old time favorites like Poirot, old cartoons,etc.)

I don't like dark stuff: blood and vampires, dead related things, negativity, laziness, gossiping, unfair people, people who hurts animals.

ABOUT SWAPPING

I am so happy to find people who like to make things. In my country I am pretty much on my own because women don't like crafts and they rather watch tv and gossip instead of been productive. I use to have a craft school but not anymore because the lack of interest. I think it is great to be able to exchange things that sometimes we have to much of (I use to live in the States and I was buying things all the time just for the fun of). I always keep my promises that is why I sing for one swap at the time and I will do my best to please my swap partner.

WISH LIST:
