As of mid-2009, I'm a 40 year old chemist with a wonderful wife and two great kids (one boy and one girl).

I like just about anything with lyrics, as long as I can hear a melody. Thrash metal doesn't do it for me, nor does new age easy listening. Think They Might Be Giants, Norah Jones, Smithereens, sea shanties, ukulele tunes, and so on.

Historically, I've watched Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Angel, Monty Python, and the like. Lately, I've been watching House, Dollhouse, and Fringe.

I'm a gardener, a doodler, a genealogist, a digital photographer, and I create little critters from Fimo and ping pong balls..

Things I like: moai (easter island heads), old movies, plant seeds (especially hand-collected seeds), art deco, old aceliner staplers, and on and on...
