Hi, my name is Amber, I'm married with one beautiful 7 yr. old daughter. We live out in the country on a farm that has been in my family for over 50 yrs, so it definetely has alot of memories for me. I grew up around cows, chickens, and horses. My grandparents bought my sister and I a horse a piece to "keep us from running around up town" lol, well, it worked. My sister loved to run poles and I loved to barrel race. I am happy my daughter gets to grow up the way I did, in a community where we know most everyone. She gets to go to the same school I did, and most of the teachers that are teaching her, taught me as well! I love being a girly-girl, but knowing how to drive a tractor, weld a gate, and worm cows comes in handy too.

My husband works on the pipeline, and it can be hard to keep the three of us close at times. My daughter and I go and see him (wherever he may be at the time, lol) as often as we can. We spend alot of time in a travel trailer when we go see him and let me tell you, it's hard keeping a 7 yr. old occupied indoors all day in limited space, lol. Luckily, I LOVE to travel so it's not as bad as it could be.

I am very easy to please, so don't worry that I will be an extremely picky person or rate you a 3 just because I didn't like what was sent. I think that is just wrong. I absolutely love being surprised so Swap-Bot is wonderful to me. I look forward to making new friends and seeing all the wonderful things that will be shared.

This is me at my daughter's Halloween costume birthday party I threw for her last year. Her birthday is the day before Halloween so we always have a great party!

I absolutely love country music, but I also listen to some pop. Favorite artists are: Reba McIntire, Sugarland, Trace Adkins, and Brad Paisley

I am a reading fanatic! I love historical romances, especially series! I have read all of Johanna Lindsey's Mallory Family Series, all of Julia Quinn's books, all of Julie Garwood's books except for Honour's Splendor, and I have read all of Stephanie Lauren's Cynster Series. I recently started reading some SLIGHTLY paranormal romances, and I kinda like them too, lol. Oh, and anything by Jennifer Crusie, love her sense of humor!

I am definetely a romantic comedy girl, lol. I hate, hate, hate, horror movies, since real life has enough horror of it's own. I do like action movies like Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, The Librarian, stuff like that.

Hero's, Smallville, Deadliest Catch, Storm Chasers, Dirty Jobs, Ice Road Truckers, Mythbusters, Prototype This, and Destroyed in Seconds. Can you tell I'm a huge Discovery Channel fan?

Making candles, solid perfume, and lip gloss. I also enjoy scrapbooking, baking, and photography.

I adore rubber stamps, mounted or not! I love lip gloss without glitter, jewelry, culturally unique items (anything I can't get in Louisiana,lol), red white and blue kitchen stuff, spicy foods, chocolate, rich fall colors(greens, reds, oranges, golds, and blues), and antique zippo lighters. I love hand-made items, seeing other people's creativity is always amazing to me. I wouldn't say I'm very crafty, so I'm always in awe of people who are. My very favorite scent is peppermint.

Fruit flavored anything, hot tea, coffee, fruity(except citrus) or flowery scents, horror movies, socks with toes, Italian seasoning, and neon colors.

Candles with clean fresh scents, scrapbooking embellishments, any jewelry (especially hand made beadwork), red, white, and blue kitchen decor, scarves of any color, historical romance novels, picture frames (any size), and cookie cutters (any shape, any size). My daughter collects pressed pennies, so those would be extra special. I love magnets, spices, pens (gel, regular, funky, whatever!), and sharpies. Bangles, blank or decorated.
