Just a heads up!! There was a mix up at my post office. All of my mail was being put in an empty box. My box is 9096 and it was being put in box 9069. I will be catching up on rating over the next few days! There's a lot to get through. Also I have had a few letters where I was told the postage was ok (I always check) and later I get a message that extra postage was required. If this happens I apologize and please let me know if there's any way to make it right. Lastly there have been a few letters that are being sent on time but taking a long time to get to my partners. This was brought to my attention via a birthday card I sent in town that took almost threevweeks to deliver. I'm not sure why there are so many issues with the post office branch I'm using. I would switch now if I wasn't paid up for 6 months on my box. I apologize for any inconvenience this causes. Hopefully I can find a new branch to mail letters through. If you don't get a swap for some reason I am happy to send another one! Just send me a message

Things I have learned:

1. Stickers are the way to my heart. I love any and all stickers EXCEPT the ones that are teacher reward stickers. I'm ok with those as long as they don't say "great job" or other encouraging phrases that you know where made to go on top of papers.

2. I really love this site

3. I love getting mail! Technically I've loved it since I was a little kid. Since finding this site the love has been revived.

4. I'm not into super picky swaps. I like the keep it simple mentality.

5. If you don't recieve something from me PLEASE MESSAGE ME. I have been good about sending out swaps day of or day after so if you don't get something it might be lost in the mail. I will happily get you another one as long as you message me (preferably here) and let me know.

6. My favorite type of mail would have to be postcards because they're simple and fun. I have a lot of postcards left over from trips I took last year as well as postcards I've found in various thrift shops and odd gas stations. I'm always adding more to my collection.

I'm creating a Tumblr for the postcards and mail I receive. I'll link it up top. No worries I plan to block out names and addresses if they're in the picture. Mostly I just want a place to show my card collection. I have a personal Tumblr but it's mostly a reblog account for craft things I find and nature photos from trips (same as the Instagram account).

There are too many to list but I will say that I'm not crazy about mystery and crime books even though I appreciate them. I really love reading books that help me learn about myself and others.

I really love to knit and crochet. I don't often keep what I make. Being in a state where there is cold weather I'm always working on hats and scarves to give to homeless shelters. If you have any yarn you would like to donate I'm alway open to swapping or getting a gift to make it your honor.

I really like using crafts to calm myself. I have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder which means I am always looking for positive tools to help with anxiety, depression, and sleeplessness among other symptoms.

I am very open about mental health, I don't want to participate in the stigma that it's not meant to be talked about. I think the more that can be done to normalize and bring awareness to struggles that people experience the better. Everyone has joys and trials and I think both should be embraced. I'd like to add as a mention... Pine is my real name not my chosen name. Several people have mentioned they like my chosen name. My parents chose Pine. My last name is Hart. Sometimes it hets written as Heart. Not a big deal except the post office workers will only put mail in my box addressed to my given name. So far I've been lucky with the workers asking but better safe than sorry.
