I'm a long-time knitter who's always trying to learn new things. I believe that I am a skilled knitter. My current favorite colors are turquoise, pink, lavendar, fuschia. I like "happy" colors in the "cool" range. I don't have any fiber allergies, and my favorite fibers are merino wool and alpaca. I am always working on quicker knits like hats, mittens, scarves, socks, or felted bags. I also knit up sweaters and shawls. I occasionally knit a sweater that is custom designed for someone else. I use Owl Knits for my blog because OWL stands for "Older Women Like..." I love chocolate - it should be a separate food group, IMHO.
