Born in Los Angeles I moved to San Francisco when I was in 3rd grade. In 1999 my family moved to Vancouver, Washington (yes there is a Vancouver in Washington!) and I love it! I do (or at least have tried) nearly every craft under the sun....and I love them all. I am a vegetarian heading toward vegan (just can't resist the cheese sometimes).

I love many different types of music: jazz to rap, trance to classical, Motown to club. Right now I am really into Jason Mraz, Death Cab for Cutie, Adele, Frank Turner, rediscovered the Monkees (have the definitive collection! so awesome)....with Cab Calloway thrown in for good measure. There is also the ever present Weird Al....Best music to walk to in the world!

Neil Gaiman, Chuck Palanuik, and Terry Brooks, Agatha Christie, David Sedaris Terry Prachett, Christopher Moore, Agatha Christie...I know there are others that I just can't think of right now. I also love audio books as I can craft and listen at the same time. I will read just about anything except romance novels.

Torchwood, True Blood, Inspector Lewis, Project Runway, Sanctuary, Law and Order SUV, Law and order Criminal Intent, Most sci-fi / fantasy, Wallace and Gromitt, Dr. Who, Bob and Margaret pretty much any craft show and of course any cooking show I can find. Eclectic list huh? Reading my list has made me think....I should live in the UK.

I knit, crochet, bead, sew, dabble in drawing/painting and embroidery. I am just starting to get into mixed media projects and hope to get started on some ATCs soon. (update: Just made my first ATCs...LOVE LOVE LOVE them) Also I am totally into stenciling using freezer paper!

When I'm not on Swapbot I can usually be found cut out and keep.

I like: Blues and greens, Bamboo yarns, Freeform beadwork, Freeform knitting, Owls, Squids, manatees, jellyfish, Coloring in coloring books, Playing on my PSP, Star Trek (the original and TNG not a fan of DS9) teaching other people to knit/crochet, cooking (vegan), doodling, peanut butter, cows (but not as food) acorns....isn't that random? Oh Well

I don't like: romance novels, "chick" flicks (at least not many), polyester, raisins (unless they are in oatmeal raisin cookies) oatmeal (unless it is combined with raisins to make cookies) snobby people, wool, leather or any animal fiber for that matter water chestnuts

Least Favorite Movies: Super Bad American Pie Smoky and the Bandit

Speed Racer stuff....the original tv series not that awful movie!
