My favorite music is Southern Gospel....The Hoppers being my favorite group. I also like Patsy Cline, The Mamas and Papas, The BeeGees and classical ballet music.

Don't read much anymore but my favorite books would be the Bible and books by Perry Stone on Prophecy.

I love making scrapbooks, mini albums, cards, and just started making ATCs, and altered and mixed media things for swaps. ...love them. My favorite colors are all shades of blue, pink, purple and teal. I love shabby chic, vintage, girly stuff, ruffles, feathers, bling, flowers, travel, photography...landscapes, flowers, water,...things that show the Majesty of God. My favorite paper is anything from Bo Bunny or K & Co....and their embellies. Love Xyron adhesives.... And now I have discovered Pocket Letters....what fun they are...if you haven't tried them..you should!!

I collect key chains, refrigerator magnets, mugs, tote bags, blue glass,amethyst glass, pink glass, and teal or aqua glass, bird houses and when it comes to scrapbooking stuff....I am a collector of everything almost to the point of being a hoarder..LOL. And now that I'm into ATCs..I collect them too...and now that I've discovered Pocket Letters...I collect them too.

Halloween stuff, most holiday stuff, anything to do with the occult or dark things, green, orange, red, black, gray, hard candy, Disney and all movie or music related stuff about rap, heavy metal, rock, and most modern "music" and I use the term loosely. I definitely don't like all the stuff that is related to death, skulls & cross bones, black, acid rock, drugs, witches or wiccan or warlocks and other subjects of evil, etc. I'm almost 77 and not into stuff like that and have never been and don't intend to get into it now and if you are...God help you get out of it!!! You're worth more than to destroy yourself with junk like that!!

I was in an accident back in September and have been so out of things since then. My car was totaled and the man that hit me was killed so it's been a hard thing to cope with. I'm still seeing a doctor and am having to go to physical therapy for knee surgery to fix my knee that was messed up in the wreck...I would like to think that I'm close to getting over the trauma and will be back to my "old self" soon. Just now (2/4/13) getting back to being able to remember things I need to do like let you know why I haven't been swapping in several months. I hope to be back soon...

It is now April of 2015 and I think I'm finally getting back "normal"...whatever that is. It just took longer than I thought it would due to heart surgery in Feb. of 2014....so now I'm looking forward to some happy scrapping and crafting!!

It looks like part of my profile is missing....this should have been the 1st paragraph...so I'll put it up again... I am 76 years old (til July), I have 6 children, 1 stepchild, 12 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 6 great grands and 1 step great grand.
I am retired from the USPS after serving 36 years and for the last 5 years have enjoyed sleeping late!!
I have a cat that I love dearly!! She's quite a diva and thinks she owns this home!! I would like to have a bunch of cats and a cute tiny dog but she lets me know in no uncertain terms that that's not going to happen....this is HER house and I'd better not forget it!!

I love to travel but don't get to do much of that anymore so I'm trying to re-live what traveling I have done by scrapping (or trying to scrap) a lot of the 50,000+ pictures that are on my computer. Obviously I like to take pictures too!! I grew up in Houston TX and for the last 57 years have lived in rural AL and I love it!! I much prefer the peace and quiet of the country to the hustle and bustle and TRAFFIC of the big city!!!

I'm also a choco-holic!! LOVE dark chocolate!! I think that is a prerequisite of being a scrapbooker...or at least it seems to be..never been to a crop that chocolate wasn't the predominate snack or dessert there! I love the ocean and my favorite way to travel is by cruise ship!! Have done 25+ cruises, mostly to the Caribbean but did 2 to Hawaii (LOVE that place!) and one to Nova Scotia...very quaint but too cold for me!! Actually living in North Alabama is too far north for me...I would love to live on an island in the Caribbean!!
