7./11 If I am your partner and you are expecting a package from me, please do not give up on me. The last few weeks of my life have been very trying and I have had a combination of personal and family issues that I have had a hard time dealing with. Please know that I am not a flaker. All of my swaps are ready they have just not been posted and I plan to get that done this weekend. Thank you very much for your patience. P.S. If you have sent to me and I have not rated you it is because I have a big pile of things waiting on me to open. I will rate as soon as I get to them this weekend as well.

I am 29 years old and live with my boyfriend of over 2 years in Jacksonville, FL. I have a 6 year old Maltese named Charlie who thinks he is a real person.

I have been a dental assistant (spit sucker) for the last 8 or 9 years mainly because I decided to do that until I figured out what I "REALLY" wanted to do. Of course I never figured it out. I am currently re-enrolled in school to persue a degree in graphic art or some other sort of art that I will be prolly be able to do nothing with.

I have tried just about every craft immaginable. I have an overstuffed room full of supplies and the people at the local crafting stores wonder about me if I miss a week. My main love is paper crafting, but I also like to try out new things all the time. I have a lot of creative interests so I am currently trying to pare it down to the things I am actually good at.

Unfortunately I either lost interest or lost componants of my collection during moves and lack of space over the years and had to decide what I liked best.

I have several different styles in the different areas of my life

Clothing wise I am very minimalistic and I am the kind of person who will buy a t shirt in all the colors just so I can wear jeans and T shirts every day.

Decorating style~ I am a lover of color and often have a hard time pairing my choices down to a few I can use. My living area is decorated in bright oranges and blue and accented with vintage items, keepsakes, rustic elements, and things of nature. I like to think it would look like a pottery barn catalog if the house were clean and we had wood floors. I can find home accents anywhere from the front yard, Goodwill, Pier One, and the garbage.

My crafting style tends to be more on the distressed side. Since most of my completed works are paper related I definately tend to sand and ink to my hearts content to give each item a worn and loved look.

It gives me a creative outlet with a deadline. If I don't have anyone to hold me accountable I would probably never get anything done! I really enjoy sending people things that I have created by hand and getting a chance to sample other people's artistic abilites. I don't swap so that I can recieve, but it is fun to get mail from time to time!
