I am a fiber lovin college senior with a passion for knitting, spinning, and weaving :)

My Favorites:

colors: lime green and pink together, purple white and gold together(school colors!!), Oranges, reds, and yellows together, sea blues and greens really any pretty blend of colors that look pretty together, except I hate christmasy colors (love christmas, hate christmas colors!) I also like black and grey tones

scents: I love citrus scents, tangerines and oranges especially and I also like lavender and vanilla I hate HATE coffee scents!!!

teas/coffees: I hate coffee and tea but have a passion for good hot chocolate, especially flavored varieties.

treats: I love chocolate. especially dark chocolate. I prefer chocolate with something else though, like mint, Love mint, especially chocolate mint. And chocolate with fruit -- chocolate-orange but also chocolate-raspberry, chocolate-cherry... not really chocolate with peanut butter.... I love citrusy things and I love rasberry. I don't like anything honey- or coffee-flavored or -scented.

animals: I love bunnies, I have the cutest bunny ever named summer and my sister has a really friendly rabbit named chester (ironically summer ended up being a boy and chester ended up being a girl... but thats another story;) I also love dogs and cats... I feel like I am soo going to be the lady with a million pets when I get older b/c I love animals

art: I am actually an art major and I especially love the art of Matisse, Van Gogh, and Chuck Close

Knitting: I like short quick projects that are small enough to carry around with me. I like to keep it pretty simple as it is an outlet for my busy crazy life!

Spinning: I love trying new fibers! My fiber wish list includes cotton, viscose, angelina, and silk to start. I have fallen in love with getting Mill Ends from the Sheep Shed Studio and dying and spinning till my heart is content :)

needle felting: I just started needle felting this summer and I love it and have gotten fairly proficient in it. I collect little scraps of fiber left over from spinning for my needle felting

weaving: I took an intro to weaving class last semester and am taking an intermediate class this semester and I have fallen in love with weaving :) I can't wait till I am older and have a craft room where I can put a giant floor loom so I can weave all sorts of colorful and crazy patterned blankets and scarves and placemats.

reading: I am a huge Harry Potter fan, I also love everything by Jane Austin, Jane Eyre, I love reading classics over and over again, I love the Fountainhead, I really really recommend it if you haven't read it

Favorite Music: I love Snow Patrol, Norah Jones, Coldplay, music from my favorite shows Alias, Lost, buffy, I love to work out to pop music with a good beat, I like the sound and beat of Eminem even though I'm not always thrilled with the lyrics... I like a lot of music, my Ipod has over 3000 songs on it and it is pretty much surgically attatched to me at all times

Favorite Movies: Harry Potter, Matrix, Most animated features(especially from Pixar or ILM) my favorites are Monster's Inc, The Incredibles, and Shrek, I like suspenseful Dramas, I like movies w/ lots of twists and turns, I loved Mel Gibson's Apocalypto, I like the movie Kissing Jessica Stein, I like some romantic comedies as long as they aren't too cheesey. I hate the gross out films or the bloody gory horror genre (Saw, hostle... yuk!!)I like some foreign films, Pan's Labrynth was one of the most stunning movies I have seen in a while, and I like independent films

Favorite Television: I am a TV addict... I could sit in front of the TV and craft all day long!! I love Buffy, Angel, Alias, Lost, Gilmore Girls, Desperate Housewives, Extreme Makeover Home Edition, Heroes, (the short lived) Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, Law and Order SVU, Grey's Anatomy, Without A Trace, Sex and the City, The L Word, The 4400, and ER just to name a few

Misc: I play lacrosse really competitively in college. I am on partial athletic scholarship so the team/sport pretty much rules my life as they are paying for some of my education! I am a goalie so I am a little crazier than most getting little rubber balls hurled at me at high speeds on a daily basis. I am an animation major and I hope to go to grad school when I graduate from college.
