Hello! My name is Lourdes, but you can also call me Lulu. I am from San Antonio, Texas and am in my final year of high school. Next fall I plan on going to college to study Psychology and Mexican American Studies. I love history and helping people so I decided to double major in these as they both piqued my interest. After college, I hope to go to law school to study to become an immigration lawyer. However, that is quite a long time from now so at the moment I am just trying to finish my senior year off strong. I really love reading books on social injustices, history, and fantasy. You can also find me painting, drawing, cooking, and exploring my city in my free time. Finally, I love collecting a lot of little trinkets. So I have a collection of pressed pennies from my travels, enamel pins, postcards, and crystals/gems. I also have quite a small Harry Potter collection as it is one of my favorite book and movie series.

I listen to a variety of music, but some of my favorite artists include: Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Cuco, Summer Salt, Rex Orange County, Vincente Fernandez, Panic! at the Disco, My Chemical Romance, Cavetown.

Some of my favorite books include: The Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling, The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton, The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros, The Distance Between Us by Reyna Grande, The Freedom Writers Diary by Erin Gruwell and the Freedom Writers.

I watch most of my shows on Netflix so these are some shows that I have seen on there. I will also list some of my favorite anime as I enjoy watching that too.

My Favorite Shows/Anime: That 70s Show, FRIENDS, Soul Eater, Jane the Virgin, Atypical, Sex Education, My Hero Academia, American Horror Story, Black Mirror, Ouran High School Host Club, On My Block, Disenchantment, Everything Sucks!, One Day at a Time, Orange Is the New Black.

I am currently watching or will start watching soon: The Ending of the F***ing World, The Devil is a Part-Timer, Grey's Anatomy, Haikyu!!, Skins, Anne with an "E".

I am definitely not as crafty as most people, but I do love creating art. I mostly paint and draw people or scenery. I also love decorating postcards when I send them out but still need to improve quite a bit with my decorating skills. This new year I want to teach myself how to make little figurines and jewelry out of clay.
