I've recently graduated university only to decide I want to go back to school for a different degree. I moved to Indianapolis in Nov. of last year, but I'm only just now starting to explore the area.

I love reading and writing. I think the greatest escape can be getting yourself lost in a good book. I've kept a journal for as long as I can remember, I'm never without my book and a pen. I also really love old books, used bookstores are some of my favorite places to be, i like the fact that the books have been read, they have a history. I especially love when i find books in which people have written notes.

The first truly cold day after summer is my favorite day of the year. I love the chill in the air and knowing that I can look forward to the leaves turning color soon.

I'm terribly shy, but I love meeting/ getting to know new people.(seems like a pretty bad combo right?) I like learning other's likes and dislikes, what makes them who they are.

I'm addicted to music, nothing is better than discovering a new amazing band.

i've been a bit stuck on folk-ish/folk rock music lately. my taste in music is pretty eclectic and there are far to many bands that i love to list them all but a few of my favorites (in no particular order) include: band of horses george harrison imogen heap rob thomas/ matchbox twenty lior sia bright eyes dallas green rachael yamagata pete yorn regina spektor prokofiev emiliana torrini

I love anything by c.s. lewis but especially "the great divorce", "til we have faces", and "the screwtape letters"

jane austen is probably my all time favorite author, but i also love the brontes. i'm drawn to novels like wuthering heights, jane eyre, and sense and sensibility.

ONCE. please, if you've not seen it, make an effort to watch it. this is a brilliant film! (i'll admit, i took advantage of netflix's no due date policy when i had this one sent to me)
