I became a dedicated fiend of the Fantasy genre the moment Rowling's Chamber of Secrets found it's way onto my reading list in the 8th grade. I always return when life becomes exhausting and escapism is a requirement.

In high school and into college I embraced Horror, Dystopian, and Apocolyptic novels. Stephen King's The Stand was read repeatedly in between bouts of Lovecraft, Poe, Bradbury, and Orwell. I also joined the Zombie craze with relish enjoying any and all books involving a wicked virus strain raising the dead.

When I returned to Fantasy again after college I snapped up every long drawn-out mystical series I could find. Jordan, Rothfuss, Sanderson, McKillip, Jemisin, the list goes on and on.

As I found myself scraping the bottom of the barrel in the world of Fantasy and YA at the end of 2012, I decided it was time for something new. Mystery.

As of writing this I am adding Louise Penny to my list, as her Inspector Gamache series has grabbed me and won't let go.

My goal for 2013 is to read 50 books.

I am currently investing my time with the following swaps/crafts. This will change sporadically.

The best advice I've seen here is, "If you're having trouble sending out your ATC because you love it so much, you're doing it right". I've found this to be true with every single one of my swaps, and I plan to continue in this fashion.

I will always send my swap on time, no exceptions.

When I receive your swap I will rate and comment within 48hrs.

• I've noticed quite a few people list their favorite colors. I lean on the side of brighter color palettes as well as jewel tones 💎. I can also appreciate dark colors so if that is your style feel free to run with it!
• Since I've been asked a few times to be more precise I like Pink and Turquoise atm.
• Pins (All types! From snarky sayings to artsy details, also holiday themed ones are always fun)
• 🌹Flowers🌻 (landscapes, roses, dried petals, silk flowers, floral patterns and anything related)
• French Country style

• 🌱 Gardening (seed trades, pictures of gardens)
• I have moved toward a more feminine aesthetic in recent years so hit me with all the lacy, pastel-y type things you can come up with
• Travel ✈ (postcards, awesome floral stamps)
• Tea (I prefer decaffeinated in bags. Irish Breakfast and Earl Grey are my favorites, but I love to try new flavors!)
• Milk Chocolate and Caramel is love 💖
• Red Velvet

• Religious items of any kind, thank you for respecting my wishes.
• Individual scraps of memo paper/notebook/post-it type paper
• Folded in half envelopes in an envelope swap. 💔 Please send them flat.
• Foam craft items. I'm sure someone out there loves them! Best to save them for a swap with someone who will fully appreciate them.
