I just found about this website and I wanted to register right away! I have been doing postcrossing for years so this felt right up my alley.
My name is Kaija, I am a queer, non-binary person (my pronouns are they/them), living in Tampere, Finland. I am stoked about so many things! Yoga, cycling, climbing, touring skating, learning Japanese, reading, drawing, just to name a few.
I will be thrilled about all mail, but if you don’t know what to slip in, here are some stuff that really makes me happy
-postcards (vintage, wild animals, plants, trees, black&white, contemporary illustrations, hlbtq, feminist, planets, space)
-stickers and washitapes
-dried leaves or flowers or plants from your local forest
-pinecones or acorns or other tree cones or pine needles
-cool envelopes
-I draw a lot, so small sketchbooks and any kind of art supplies are welcome, like brush pens or pigment pens
-chocolates
-magazine articles about lgbtq-people or nature/animals, in any language
-old photos
-geocaching travellers
I'm really into 60's music. I just listen to the same oldies over and over again. Beatles is definately one of my favourite bads.
Northern Soul is something I got into around five years ago and can't get enough of it. Herbert Hunter's I was born to love you is my fav Northern Soul single.
From the new music Indie and brit pop from around millennium moves my body and soul the most. Arcade Fire, Pulp, White Lies, Blur, Bowie, Rodriguez etc.
I am not a fan of tourist cards or multiview. I don’t like reward, planner or puffy stickers. If you would want to send me clothes, please consult me before hand.
You can write me in English, Finnish or Swedish. Also super simple Japanese written in Hiragana would give me a great learning experience.
If you send a package outside EU, please don’t mark any value on it, if you do it will go through customs and I have to pay VAT on it. You can mark it as personal or present or 0€. Also if it’s less than 3cm thick it’s considered a letter and it will not go through customs. If you have questions, pls send me a msg. Thanks!

I added an international version of the oversized postcard swap. Link is on my profile.
