I'm a stay-at-home mom of three boys who keeps (relatively) sane by making things. I make all kinds of stuff, from giant oil paintings to small doodles, quilts, journals...I could go on. I go through phases where I'm obsessed with one thing, I do it until I lose inspiration, then I move onto something else for awhile. It works for me.

I listen to almost anything other than rap, hardcore, and country. Currently I'm going through a Regina Spektor/Devotchka/Beirut phase, with some Phil Wickham thrown in.

Currently we're watching Leverage and Royal Pains on Netflix. I watch reruns of sci-fi when I'm bored.

I read a lot, but the books I come back to again and again are Lord of the Rings, The Chronicles of Narnia, and Harry Potter. Yes, I'm a nerd.

Right now I'm working on a massive quilt project, so I've sort of been chained to my sewing machine lately. But in general I would say painting and drawing are my first love. I occasionally knit, but it's more of a sick self-flagellation than an enjoyable hobby for me. I've just started making ATC's and it's really addicting, I love exploring different techniques on such a small scale

I love looking at other people's art, so ATC's are awesome, but I definitely prefer the more artsy and less crafty type, if that makes sense.

I LOVE fabric, particularly Heather Ross, Heather Bailey, Michael Miller, really anything funky and mod with rich colors. I've been secretly stalking Japanese fabric (think Kokka and not Japanese lettering) but have been too scared to buy it so...hint hint... :) I also love Kona solids in pretty much any color. Owls and hedgehogs are cute.

Fabrics I'm not interested in are novelty prints, plaids, or country-ish fabric. I don't really like purple, but there are places it's okay I guess.

I love dark chocolate, funky stationary, and jelly belly jelly beans. I also like any kind of paper, as long as it doesn't have puppies and kittens on it or anything obscene.

I hate grape flavor/smell, white chocolate, and bugs. Please don't send me any dead bugs in an envelope, that would be so gross.
