I am a 29-year-old working mom. My son Jordan is 2 1/2 and we have another baby on the way! I am a teacher, I work with students who are hard of hearing from K through 8th grade. I love all sorts of crafts, but mostly scrapbooking and sewing (see more below).

My absolute, all-time favorite book is Audrey Niffennegger's The Time Traveler's Wife. I love the mix of romance and science fiction. I also like the Twilight series, anything by Sophia Kinsella, and Suzane Collins' Hunger Games series.

I've been listening to lots of kids songs lately with my 2-year-old! We love Imagination Movers, Choo-Choo Soul and the songs from the Wee Sing CDs. Otherwise, I like country music, like Carrie Underwood and Kenny Chesney, and rock, like David Cook and Daughtry.

We love to watch Lost!! I can't wait for it to start again! We also are die hard American Idol fans! Other than that I don't really watch that much TV...though my husband usually has sports on!

My favorite colors are pink and brown...but I've been wearing more grassy-green and navy blue lately!

I love anything Vera Bradley. I most recently bought Saddle Up in Cupcakes Green...thus the green and blue in my wardrobe!

I love to read and seem to have a growing collection of bookmarks. Other than that I really don't collect anything else.

I love Starbucks, Panera, Chipotle, and Jimmy John's. I'm mostly a tea drinker at Starbucks, especially now since I'm pregnant and can't have caffeine!

I am allergic to macademia nuts and anything with shellfish in it, like shrimp or calamari...and then I'm allergic to lots of other stuff like grass and trees, cats and dogs...but I love puppies and wish I could have one. I also looooooove chocolate. Dark chocolate is my favorite.

Another favorite treat is ice cream. Coldstone Creamery is my absolute favorite. I usually get their Mudpie Mojo which is coffee ice cream with chocolate sauce, peanut butter, and almonds mixed in...there might be something else in there. Another favorite flavor is Moose Tracks, I just get that at the store. Yum!!!!

My favorite candies are mini M&Ms, just plain dark chocolate, sour patch kids, gummy bears/worms, or laffy taffy.

I have been making jewelry forever...I first started making friendship bracelets out of embroidery floss when I was in second grade. Lately, I string beads and do some wire wrapping to make earrings and bracelets. The swarovski crystals are my favorite but I also like pearls because they are my birthstone.

I love to sew, even though I don't do it enough. The last project I made were a ton of yo-yos for my Christmas cards! Before that I sewed a vest for my son's Halloween costume so he could be Diego. I like short and simple projects so I can get them done and feel like I have accomplished something. I have made a couple of quilts, but that was before I was married. I liked making a strip quilt, that was really fun. As far as fabric goes, it depends on what I'm making but I really like Debbie Mumm's designs.

I also really like to knit, although I don't have all that much sit down time where I can really get focused so I don't do it that much. I like to do it but I don't really have experience following a pattern. I did make a really cool scarf but there weren't any increases or decreases or anything fancy like that. I tried to make a sock and I almost finished it but I never did...and the idea of having to start over and make another one so I'd have a pair seemed daunting. I like doing it, I just haven't found anything interesting but easy enough to make. I love all kinds of yarn BUT not the stuff with the extra little strings and fluff hanging off of it. I've tried to knit with that and it was just way to hard.
