Personal Info: Here I am, twenty-one year old Hillary Briffa reaching out to you from the sunny island of Malta. I could tell you of my love for creativity in all its forms – how words consume me, music transforms me, dancing frees me, and on and on, yet where would that leave the joy of meeting a stranger and earning a friend?

Rather I’ll tell you of the delight I find in traveling, how the colour orange makes me happy, how I’m a night person to the extent that sleep is a rarity, of my opinion that the poet John Keats’ letters to Fanny Brawne are beauty personified (‘I almost wish we were butterflies and liv’d but three summer days – three such days with you I could fill with more delight than fifty common years could ever contain’), the fact that my hair is curly and my eyes are brown and I do my best to smile at the world.

I could try to tell you many things, but I find it difficult to distil my essence into a mere paragraph without sounding lame. Really, I’d just like to say that I love people, I love creativity and writing and I think through swaps I can combine the two and no longer have to open my mailbox to emptiness :)
