I am from the Philippines. Born in Manila and was raised in the province. I am currently in Manila due to work and was stuck here since Covid hit. I haven't been home since March 2020. Good thing I have a place to stay here.

I am restarting to swap this year. I used to do so in 2001 starting with FBs and Friendship Slips. Bags like label bags, sticker bags etc, followed. I stopped some few years back as I have no known swappers around near me. I want to do it again this year. But I may do less mail swapping as I am also quite busy in my small crochet business.

As for penpalling, I started in 1999 but stopped in 2010. I gave up because I am now more interested in swapping.

I love everything pink and Sakura/cherry blossoms. I am also currently learning how to speak and read Japanese.

I love cats more than dogs. I don't hate dogs, it is just that I prefer cats more than dogs.

I am currently doing journals. I used to do so when I was a teenager but restarting to do journals recently.

I love stickers and preferably cute ones and ones that I can stick on to my journals to decorate them.

I also love creating stuff. I do crochet a lot recently. Maybe I can send some for anyone here that wants them. If I ever see one. I can make amigurumis/crochet dolls as well.

Last year, I crocheted loads of earsavers for our local frontliners which also includes my cousins (and their staff) who are doctors. I also sent some to my brother's former colleagues in the province.

(Covid related post): There will be some delays in mail delivery from the Philippines but it is business as usual with limited workers.

COVID UPDATE as of January 2022: I may receive and send some of the mails a little later than usual as the Covid cases are going higher each day in the Philippines, particularly here in Manila. If I am able to send one during these days, please make sure to disinfect them first before opening them.

UPDATE: I will stop for a while after the last swap I have signed up to. I am so busy juggling work and my small crochet business at the same time. Once I get the hang of it and find a little time, I will be back!

I love watching Japanese dramas at the moment. My favorite of them all is 99.9 Criminal Lawyer. It has an upcoming movie that I hope I can also watch soon as the DVD comes available.

I am currently watching Wada Ke No Otoko Tachi (The Men of Wada Family) and trying to catch up on watching it real time from Japan.

I am into any genre of music but I love Queen, Spice Girls, Madonna, a1 and Jpop band Arashi.

I am currently collecting anything Arashi and buying some of their merch directly from Japan. I have their uchiwas, shirts, penlights, albums and other collectibles. I am also a member of the official Arashi fan club and thanks to a friend's sister that I am able to enter... hehehe....

I mentioned I am into journaling at the moment. But I also crochet stuff. I just made a small crochet ball which my kittens love! They play around with it around the house at the moment.

Apart from journaling and crocheting, I also color books. I have some pages that I will have to frame so I can display it in my house.

I prefer mostly suspense thriller books. Particularly of Val MacDermid. She was recommended to me by a1 member Paul Marazzi when I ask if he has any recommendation on the said genre. I was also writing a suspense novel but haven't finish it off because I will need to do much research.

Other than that, I am also interested in history books. More so about the Philippines. It is uncommon for Filipinos who are interested in the said topic and I still wonder why....

I am currently employed as a customer service representative for a company I cannot disclose for security reasons. But if you are in the US, I may have spoken to you when I was still employed by other companies as well :P

I am currently learning how to speak, write and read Japanese. I have books and magazines in Japanese at the moment. I am also hoping to learn the language as soon as possible so it will not hard for me to understand the words Arashi are saying lol
