My name is Martha Stewart. I am a Martha Stewart but not "the" Martha Stewart. There have been many comments over the years (always in fun) of "how was jail?" to "can you come decorate my house" to "are you sisters?" - haven't firgured that one out yet, lol. I am a wife, mother of 4, grandmother to 3, Christ follower, Registered Nurse. I have loved paper and paper crafts since 2006. We live in Florida, I miss snow - I know it sounds crazy to some of you in the snow! We have 3 cats. I have been known to start watching Christmas movies in the summer! And I am a big fan of Hallmark Movies. I love the idea of meeting people outside of my little community - we live in a big world - and was thrilled to find this site! I like: Paper! Especially unusual papers or items made from paper. Things from nature, ie seeds, seed pods, weathered wood, pinecones, interesting rocks. Paper again - natural papers, papers depicting plants and nature, old postcards... Ephemera, small trinkets, and miniatures of things. Winnie the Pooh and his friends Thanksgiving and Christmas - I love the preparation for these holidays. Rich colors, tend to shy away from pastels. I love owls. Walking. Our military. Things from the 50's and 60's - love looking at items from this era, when I grew up. Coffee and Tea - Decaf unfortunately :). Small Journals - I make a lot of lists. I like receiving things that have a story to them (hope that makes sense) just like when you meet someone for the first time; I love hearing their story.

I love children's books! I have been known to pick up a children's book to read before picking up an "adult book" and not because I can't read;). It definitely brightens your day! Favorite authors/books: AA Milne's poetry and Pooh stories, Louisa May Alcott's Little Women & Men, Burnett's Secret Garden, Carolyn Keene's Nancy Drew series, Dr. Seuss, LM Montgomery's Anne series, Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island, Richard Scary books and illustrations, EB White's stories, Margaret Wise Brown's stories and illustrations, Farley Mowat's Owl in the Family, to name a few...
