About Me

I am a fiber artist, student, and purveyor of organic foods living in Old Town Alexandria, VA. I love to spin all sorts of fibers, knit them in all sorts of ways, read papers on mycorrhizal relationships, then polish it off with a lovely meal and a silly movie. I love to laugh and have fun...

As far as other info, I love just about all colors save for yellow. Rich jewel tones and earthy shades make me happy. Also, for food-related swaps, I have no known allergies (lucky me!).

Favorite Music

With music, the sky is the limit- except for contemporary country and death metal. (It's all good if you like those things, they are just not for me!)

Favorite Books

Anything about nature, fiber arts (esp. knitting/spinning), or holistic healing. I am very much into mushrooms, tidepools, herbal remedies, and botany. I also love the works of Jane Austen and Gary Snyder.
