I'm nineteen and live in a beautiful historical city, Ghent. I study English and French at university and am enjoying that very much. I'm still a newbie here, but I did some swaps on other sites and hope to get started here.

THINGS

• the smell of roses, vanilla and coconut

• walking barefoot
• I love Top Gear. Give me a Lamborghini Gallardo please.
• the taste of Italy: mozzarella, sundried tomatoes, basil, rucola, pepper and salt, olive oil
• baking (and eating the dough)
• curling up in a cozy place with a book
• Turkish apple tea (I live in a turkish neighbourhood and I'm loving all the food!)
• yarn, lots of it
• my beautiful city
• birds and grasshoppers
• watching House
• art deco patterns
• nature, trees
• I'm a green person, vegetarian too.

CRAFTS

• crochet is what I'm best at in the crafting department. I also spend too much hours on the internet searching for patterns.
• knitting: I LOVE the look and versatility of knitting but unfortunately I'm a bit of a failure at it. But I'm trying, I'm just very very left-handed and that's not a good thing.
• paper crafts: collage, journalling, decorating little bits of paper
• room decorating
• I take a printmaking class three times a week since a month or two, and am enjoying it. I consider it art and not craft
• photography, mostly analog. I'm going to take some classes about dark room soon!

I'm interested in pretty much all crafts.

CARDS

I love postcards, but not the classic touristy ones. (they are usually not the best photos too) I like cards with artwork. I love all vintage cards and like to look for them at flee markets. Naked ladies cards are my favourite but I also like landscapes and things like that. I have books about boring postcards which are great, I'm particularly fond of those.
