Im a 29yo straight edge chick from New Zealand who is obsessed with making cupcakes and collecting anything cupcake related! I love anything pink too (we even have a pink toaster and kettle)

I live with my husband and our very spoilt cat Minerva in a cute little art deco cottage near the sea in Milford, Auckland. Our house is full of paintings we've both done. Im a graphic designer and he manages a local bar. When work isn't taking over our lives we love having lazy times at home watching Family Guy episodes or going to gigs.

I photograph all my cupcake creations and put them up on my cupcake blog. Then I give them away to my workmates and friends.

When Im not baking cupcakes or other goodies, I love painting and crafting. I collect shoes (I have over 60) and love getting tattoos!

I also run a website called The Cupcake Project where I'm trying to get people from all over the world to draw a picture of a cupcake and send it to me. Im aiming for 100 by the end of 2007.

I love getting snail mail and enjoy sending random little packages to my friends with cards and cute little things they might like. Everyone loves mail!

I realised my profile was a bit light on details so thought I'd try to add some more.

My favourite book of all time is Women Who Run With the Wolves. Reading it changed my life as a young woman, I even somehow own 2 copies now. I love all books by SARK, Oriah Mountain Dreamer, Stehanie Dowrick.

Some other books I love are "A Year By The Sea" and "An Unfinished Marriage" by Joan Anderson. "Beachcombing at Miramar" by Richard Bode. "The Prophet" by Kahlil Gibran. "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho. "Gift From The Sea" by Anne Morrow Lindbergh.

I love Sylvia Plath and "The Bell Jar". Im a big fan of the poet Rumi too.

I also love books on Graphic Design. We have a whole self dedicated to my collection of beautiful design books!

I'm pretty open minded when it comes to candy and chocolate, I eat most things. I love fruity flavours (especially grape, strawberry, lime) and don't mind sour lollies. I'm a sucker for anything in cute packaging and I love cute candy that I can pop on my cupcakes that I make.

I have a total obession with Reeces Peanut Butter Cups and Nerds candy - things like that are hard to find in NZ. If anybody can send me the M&Ms that have peanut butter inside them, I will love you forever! I'm dying to try them :-)
