I am an American living in the United Kingdom. I recently relocated from Washington, DC to join my husband, who is studying at the University of Cambridge. Absolutely enjoying my time here, but I do miss all things American (ice in drinks, Mexican food, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups...).

I enjoy reading, exercising, traveling, following politics, spending time with friends, and being outdoors. My favorite color is purple. And, I really enjoy shopping at J.Crew and Etsy.

Cards (greeting cards, thank you cards, birthday cards, etc.), stationary, sewing items, knitting items, recipes, teas, hot chocolate mix (or something similar, just not coffee), bath & body items, fitness magazines,and nail polish (especially light pink).

I am not a very gifted craftster, (my brother got the artistic genes) but I do enjoy sewing. I just got back into sewing, so at this point my projects are very simple.

I enjoy reading books from the New York Times Bestsellers fiction list. Recent books I have really enjoyed: Water for Elephants, The Girl with a Dragon Tattoo, and The Shadow of the Wind.

Okay, I must admit it, I enjoy reality TV. The worst part...I'm not very picky. I enjoy the Real Housewives series on Bravo, Survivor, Project Runway, Top Model, and even The Hills (I know. It's bad.).
