Hi everyone. My name is Paola. I'm 42 years old and am a cancer. I was born in the year of the monkey.

I am a registered nurse. I was a nurse's aide (CNA) first in 2000. Then I went to school to get my license as a licensed vocational/practical nurse (LVN/LPN) in 2004. After working as an LVN for a few years, I went through a school/work program at the hospital I worked at to get my registration. And in 2010, I was officially an R.N. I've been working in telemetry, step-down/PCU, and psych since 2004.

My favorite colors are pink and black. Not delicate pink, lol. Hot pink. Fluorescent pink. Like glow in the dark pink. No baby pink for me. ^.^

I have stuff with those colors and cute, girlie skulls that has bows on them or hearts as eyes. I even have scrubs that were personally made for me with those designs.

I Like animal prints too, but they got to be subtle. Usually they are in the background. (I have scrubs with animal prints on them too)

I've always liked to up-cycle/recycle. I like to organize things and have everything matching. :D The smell of vinyl when opening your pencil pouch and the smell of a brand new eraser erasing your mistakes on paper bring back good memories. I love shopping for school supplies! lol I'm sure you wanted to know that! heehee

I love the smell of sandalwood candles. I got it in my home and that stuff is WONDERFUL!

I like satire, I have a dry wit and am not easily offended.

I'm into paper-crafting. I like making junk journals and the like. I repurpose items and put them to new use in my journals.

I love making envelopes. I never realized how much I enjoyed until I tried it for myself! :D

I love decorating envelopes with stickers and washi. I also use markers and pens. I think it makes our snail mail more interesting, don't you think? :D

Ephemera (Vintage, new, or regular pieces from everyday life.) I wanted to add here that I'd really like to build up my everyday ephemera by getting more from other countries and in other languages. That would be so awesome!

I love stickers! No. Really. I LOVE STICKERS! Lisa Frank ones. Cute girly skull ones with bows and hearts on them. I love the Sanrio brand. Sanrio-X, cute Korean ones too. I'm not really a stickler (haha) about stickers. As long as they are clean and printed out and cut correctly, I'm happy. :D

I own a lot of kawaii stickers bought from eBay. I know more than likely they (or some of them at least) are fake and are not the actual brand, but they work for me! :D

As long as you don't pass your stickers for the actual thing, then I'll be happy with them too. :D

I love stationary. Paper and envelopes that match to write on, or pretty notecards that are blank inside.

I love all animals! That includes domesticated fuzzballs (cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats/mice) to wild ones. Even turtles, lizards, snakes, and fish. Ooh! Especially sea turtles! :D

Hercules is a terrier mix. I got him as a rescue in a no-kill shelter. He just turned 11.

I love all kinds of music!

I mostly listen to Christian/Positive music. I love Toby Mac, Capital Kings, Newsboys, Matthew West, Family Force 5, Royal Tailor, The Afters.

I love the oldies too. The Beatles, CCR, The Bee Gees, The Hollies
