I am a gifted and talented program co-ordinator based in Melbourne, Australia. I have lived in several countries, and travelled to many more, but always come home to Australia. I am married to an amazing man, and we have an enormous sooky Lab Retriever (Dalek) and a small army of rented goldfish, all named Strax.

I love knitting, a bit of embroidery and cross stitch, papercraft (particularly making ATCs) and journalling.

Being a lit major when I was at uni, I love the classics (colonial and post-colonial, dystopias in particular), but also love pop culture icons such as Harry Potter and Winnie Saloman's world of Facetime. I also love novels written in epistolary format. Favourite authors of multiple books I've enjoyed include Robert G. Barrett, Phillip K Dick, Margaret Atwood, Geraldine Brooks and William Gibson.

I listen to virtually anything - my most recent loves include Straight No Chaser, Nightwish, Mika, Owl City, Train and Flight of the Conchords, 2Cellos, PSY, the Wondergirls, and Kalafina, Pentatonix and soundtracks galore!

I'm so lucky! Thanks to djmom11 who angelled my Theme A Day journals! There was a lot of work to be done for them so I feel very special that she chose to angel such a big project for me!

Guinea pigs, pound puppies, hedgehogs, dachsunds, St. Bernards, pugs, pink, white, black, silver, tangerine orange, butter yellow, cookie cutters, papercraft scraps, writing writing and more writing, being a moderator on the LJ holiday_wishes community, fabric scraps, fibre scraps, yarn, buttons, sarees, the scents of vanilla, strawberry, sandalwood, musk, men's cologne and fresh-baked cookies. My favourite ATCs are ones incoporating ephemera or stamping and layers of different materials.

Also, TRAVEL. Oh how I love travel - I live in a permanent state of fernweh!

Patchouli, mice, rats, roaches, rainy days, cats and peanuts (allergies, though trace nuts are ok).
