The Philippine Post is not known for its efficiency or consideration to deliver mail with urgency. It's a constant struggle to be trapped by a system that is run by ineptitude. If you've sent me a postcard that has been travelling for 30 or more days, please contact me and usually knowing how frustrating it is waiting for someone to register/rate a card....

I just register/rate them ahead of receiving. Eventually cards DO find their way to me, albeit sometimes grossly tardy.

I also NEVER flake on a swap. But once in a blue moon, mail does get mishandled by the Philippine Post. To the US & Canada, my experience is 14 working days for mail to reach its destination (based on my postcrossing stats). To Europe, sometimes 20 days.

Please give me the courtesy of nudging me when you haven't received my swap. I am more than glad to resend them :)

I'm just an overall lover of snail mail!

In my absolutely boring and mundane life in an office, a surprise in my letter box is all i need to sustain a level of excitement in my life.

I LOVE to swap & collect:

COLLECTING POSTCARDS, primarily historical places such as palaces, ancient ruins, cathedrals and UNESCO places....

I also enjoy receiving beautiful artistic/illustration postcards from your local artists (like Stenval from Finland etc). Black & White Photography as well! BUT NO FREE or AD CARDS please :D

Lately I have had the luck of receiving postcards of my favorite classic movie stars! :D I'm still hoping to receive Humphrey Bogart, James Stewart, Hitchcock, Audrey Hepburn.. and so on ^_^ would also love to receive postcards of old 1930's 40's movie posters :D or unique B&W cards of famous pictures.

I'M A VINTAGE HUNTER!!! :) I collect old photographs that depict anything interesting from men with awesome beards to portraits...

I collect antique keys and skeleton keys :)

I love museum souvenirs like bookmarks :D

I just love curiosities as well, conversation pieces like anything with historical backgrounds.... no matter how small they are! I basically put them in my mantle and it really gets a lot of notice.

I am a BIG PHOTOGRAPHY fan... and would love to receive random expressive art photograhy and/or lomography... polaroids... B&W... ooohhh just dont forget to sign on the back :D

Aw God, I am a HUGE movie buff/addict. It's a big pasttime of mine to spend my Saturdays in the cinema and buying Old classic films in amazon.

Favorite flicks are Casablanca, An Affair to Remember, A Christmas Story, It's a Wonderful Life, Hitchcock masterpieces like Verigo & Rear Window, Sunset Blvd, Singing in the Rain, Maltese Falcon...

But recent loves include Fight Club, Trainspotting, Slumdog Millionaire, American History X (love Ed Norton), Crash, Little Ms Sunshine and all such wonderful movies :D
