I'm just about to turn 30 and I live in Chicago with my husband. We're looking forward to getting pets.

• Alternative type music from the 80's and 90's

• Indie type music from the current decade

• Female Jazz singers like Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughn, Billie Holiday

• I love finding old, out-of-print novels from any genre.

• Books with lots of cool/fun pictures for cutting apart are also great.

• I do watch TV, but I'm not interested in owning anything TV themed.

• I would be very happy to get anything film noir related.

• Writing

• Beginning sewer

• Basic jewelry making, although someday I'm going to do a metalworking class.

• Cooking & eating - Japanese, Indian, Italian, French, Thai, etc. I'm always on the lookout for new soup recipes!

• My favorite color combinations are Red & Cyan (to match my tattoos/Chicago's flag) and Green & Hot Pink. But I like any striking color combination.

• I like vibrant and rich colors, pastels not so much.

• Black, navy blue and brown always work.

• Sparkly = yes. More rhinestones, please!

• My kitchen has a bright yellow, dark olive green, and light, cool blue theme. My mom says that that combination was big in the 70's. She hates it. ;)

• I'm pretty open-minded about anything you want to pass along...

• I'm an atheist, so nothing religious.

• I don't do cross stitch or crochet. I can pass on knitting supplies to friends, but I don't knit myself.
