A little about me.... hmmm...well, I am a fiesty gal... free, opinionated, take charge (or get'er done, if ya wanna call it that!), kind-of-artsy (LOL), middle aged, martini swillin' pirate! I have two sons, 28 & 13, and two grand-babies....who I dote on terribly! How fun...play, and then go home...kiss-kiss! I am greatful to be a breast cancer survivor of 5 years now! We live in a beautiful beach community and we often comb the beach for sea glass, shells and other treasures.

My passion is expressive art, and I love to create!!!....will use any media and love textures! I love art that is outside the box! I must confess that I AM ADDICTED to knitting, crocheting, jewelry making, tin & metal crafting, sewing, paper freak, sugarcraft art (fondant, specialty cake decorating & chocolate art)...love sweet doll making, and all things felt...love embroidery...and empowering women statements of art.

I TRULY love the dichotomy of really pretty and soft with funky-bad girl artsy stuff!! I like different and wierd...conversation pieces...tastefully done!!!

(I love Hello Kitty... the sexy one especially!!! Have you seen her? She is a DIVA!!)

My compulsion to create has me thinking of the next project before the one I am working on is finished. Each spring, I enjoy making my own simple sun dresses, purses, hats, etc.- dolls & silly frilly things for my sweet little grand-daughter. I enjoy making and donating handcrafted items for the benefit of breast cancer survivors. I also have a love for all those newborn babies-they get lots of stuff too!

I love to swap and get so much enjoyment from sharing with others. I appreciate all art and enjoy seeing others creative style. It is not my intention to ever flake, so if you do not receive an item from me for a swap, please let me know. I generally send out my swaps with delivery confirmation, so it will be easier to trace.

I love all crafts and art that involve paper or textile. I adore frilly stuff, teaparties, cupcakes, fairy, doll & accessory making, glittery, sparkly, lacy, romantic items from the past, jewelry making, paper art, home decorations, mini's & trinkets for the little divas in my life! I enjoy making fabric & wool beaded stuff, crazy fun womanly art and goddess items!

Any movie that makes me laugh! Belly laughed through Bridesmaids! CLASSICS like Godfather, James Bond, Goodfellas, Titanic, Caddyshack, Mystic Pizza, Dirty Dancing...a good drama -Sleeping with the Enemy, Bourne flicks, John Grisham...not into vamps, tramps, or horror.

I am passionate for art/craft that encourages, lifts, expands the mind and world. I donate many special items I create to other women in treatment for breast cancer that need hope...and to smile....and to newby babies in special care...

Art is a window to the soul, for those who create it and those who view it!

My style can be sweet, sassy, on-the- edge, naughty, nice, inspiring, caring, thought-provoking, but is always honest and fun.

Any books of inspirational words and stories;,journals from long ago. I love all books vintage!

I enjoy true crime books, and cookbooks with great hor d'oeuvres or hearty, simple fare. Running books that challenge or inspire my workouts. Handmade health/wellness journals.

I enjoy hunting for antique photographs of brides, women, mothers & their children, ladies doing chores. I love all photos of my children and grandchildren! I am a photo-holic!

Thoughtless art. Dollar store stuff. Liars, cheats and theives. Drama! Bras that don't fit right! Cartoon characters that scream at you, instead of talk. Traffic. Not having a pen/pencil to jot down a creative thought or idea!

If you send me a treat, I would love it, however, I have a gluten intolerance. There is no gluten in sugar-free hard candy (hint hint). I also have to be careful about wheat protein in bath/body products, so I would prefer to purchase my own. We love gummy bears and jelly beans!!! (yummy), and chocolate!!!! I wonder if there is a way to mix all three.....

Favorite Girlie Things: Handmade jewelry (bracelet & brooch beotch), artsy barrettes/hair combs/hair ties, shabby chic anything, breast cancer socks, unique scarves, handmade totes and little make-up bags, shiny-sparkly-glittery lip gloss/stick in bubblegum pink or nude color...soy candles- I love all scents, fun paper plates/napkins for my girlie lunches, anything pink, sparkly and fun!

I wear sterling, or silver tone only.

Misc. unusual beads...all colors, glass or metal, old jewelry to be ripped apart to make something new...(love it!)

Any Hello Kitty jewelry findings, or old kid jewelry that can be taken apart to make anew!

My youngest son, aged 13, loves to receive mail from everywhere. It encourages him to get some enjoyment out of reading. He is a big history buff, he generally loves anything to do with the ocean, hunting, magic, wizards, animals (wild & domestic). He would love a note or postcard with interesting pictures from where you live.
