I am a 27 year old first time mum, I am pagan, I have always been crafty (inspired by my mother) but really hit my creative stride last year while I was on maternity leave... so many cute baby clothes/toys to make!

One of my sad realisations while on maternity leave was how little I actually had in common with people who I considered close friends, once there were no shared work experiences we eventually ran out of things to say to each other and those friendships unfortunately faded. This lead to many hours online looking for local or online crafty people, which lead to following @SisterDiane and @craftsocial on twitter, which lead to my first swap! So there you go, clouds and silver linings :)

I love the idea of seeing a little glimpse into someones life via a swap!

Favorite authors are Sara Douglass and Marion Zimmer Bradley. Nearly anything based on historical events.

Crochet and knitting but I will try anything really, recently I have started hand carving my own knitting needles and crochet hooks, spinning, painting on my ipad, stencilling, hand embroidery, sewing baby clothes etc...

My husband and I are gamers and subscribe very much to gamer/geek culture. We both play World of Warcraft and I am a huge Diablo fan but we also spend a bit of time on xbox and ps3.
