Good Morning,

Just because I say that all day long. I tend to be a little unconventional but I enjoy the process as much, if not more, than the end product. My name is Jennifer and I am 51 years old. I live in Virginia, USA, but I was born and raised in Southern California. Growing up a few miles from Disneyland (and Disney’s original studio) and the beach gave me a magical childhood and a wonderful perspective on life.

I spent several years in the US Army as a helicopter mechanic, where I met my darling husband. I got out and went to OBC and became a Chemical officer. I married my DH in 1990 after spend several weeks with him in Egypt. We fell in love with the country. Shortly after we got married we moved to West point New York. Where our first child was born. 25 years later we have 7 children and live in Virginia.

My children range from the baby 16 years old to my eldest who is 34 years old. I now have 7 grandchildren. The newest was born December 7th, 2015. My son just adopted a 17 year old, so now I have a grandchild older than my youngest child. Life just continues to be exciting and unexpected.

I love swapping I have been doing it with quilt squares and fabric for the past 15 plus years. I am excited that I have found this site it seems to have stream lined the process greatly.

I have tattoos and plan to get more. I got my first one when I was 21 and it made my mom cry so I kept it covered and didn’t get any more until she passed away 3 years ago. The very first I got after her passing was a memorial to her. My four daughters loved it and her so much they all got matching ink.

I homeschooled all 7 of them through high school. I only have one left in the house and she is in high school
