Married to an absolutely great guy, mother to one son, grandmother to 3, living on the beautiful side of Washington state overlooking Sinclair Inlet, retired hairdresser and have a Computer Information Systems degree. I also worked hospital pharmacy doing IV's and meds.

Paper crafting (die cutting and stamping) is my favorite hobby although I love making chunky charms, dangles, snowflakes for my xmas tree and jewelry with crystal beads, basket weaving, some knit and crochet. Have made cold process soap but not lately.
I make cards, ATC.s, pretty packaging, Memory Dex cards, wands, rosettes journals and 3D items. I have been paper crafting for 30 years so I have lots of stuff. Have recently moved into a smaller home and will be downsizing some of the crafts I no longer do such as Cross Stitch.

Styles I like: Shabby Chic, pink, white and gold, shabby pale blues. Most colors except the really bright ones. Love Pastels, floral, soft vintage, retro. Christmas-I love all Christmas themes (except Disney, etc) especially the old retro style. Santa's, snowmen, sweet little girls in fur coats and boots, etc. Halloween, - love it all but mostly the 'dark side' rather than cutesy. Love the retro/vintage look here too. Love retro vintage kitchen themes. Love handmade paper flowers, ribbon and tulle flowers, etc Bling!!! Stickles, Glitter, sequins, paint, etc.There is never too much sparkle in my opinion.

Things I don't like: Although I appreciate anything handmade, I really don't care for Disney characters, or other generic mainstream gimmicks, cartoonish type things. Stickers. Can't seem to get the hang of using them. Usually not into the bright colors. Prefer shabby chic or colors of nature.

Interests: I collect a lot of fragrances, and particularly love ones with deep, rich, warm, spicy, vanilla, woody, ouds, Amber, Frankincense and Myrrh, smokey. I have quite a collection of Chanel No5's, Guerlains Shalimar's (there are several iterations) and Givenchy's Organza Indecence. I also like the unisex scents with cedar, sequoia and other woods. My favorite home scent is Zum Frankincense and Myrrh. Yummy!

Movies: Horror shows such as American Horror Story, Nos4a2, and cancelled ones like Grimm. I like monsters,witches, demons,etc, not slasher gashers like Friday the 13th, although I do love Jeepers Creepers!

Comedy. I love the geeky ones like Nacho Libre, Sasquatch Gang, Mariel's Wedding,along with the old classics like The Long, long trailer. Any of the Crosby/Hope movies. I also like live comedy and go to shows whenever I can. Last one we saw was Damon Wayans. Love the Keye and Peele comedy, along with Dave Chappelle.

Gardening. Mainly grow roses, clematis, peonies and hydrangeas. I showed roses for many years till my grandkids came along and I quit using chemicals on my plants. Now I just grow for pleasure.

I drink lots of tea, and pick it up whenever I travel. Love Persian Earl Gray (the best I got was from Switzerland), Lychee (from China). Constant Comment and a few great ones from France. I try to get the tea in tins so I can have a souvenir after the tea is gone. I love candy. Especially a good caramel, and I have a mouthful of crowns to prove it! LOL

I love animals especially cats - have 3 indoor and feed two outdoor strays. I grew up in the country where there weren't a lot of other kids so had a horse, chickens, cow, pig, vegetable garden, tree house. As an adult I have been lucky enough to have done some traveling to other countries for pleasure. Enjoy cooking and baking, canning and preserving, puttering in my garden and love collecting pretty paper for hoarding, um, crafting. LOL I love all sparkly things. I just had my first bone break. I broke the fifth metatarsal of my right foot. Have been wearing a boot for 5 weeks and tried a shoe for an hour and it hurt like heck so I guess I'm not ready to drive yet! :-(
